Really well crafted and good looking just as a piece of high end wood working. The one issue with ponies that have large knobs on the side, however, is that your thread loop sometimes gets snagged on the knobs while you're stitching. If they could be made tapered and flush (or slightly inset) knobs to avoid this, it would be perfection.

What a beautiful toolbox for your lovely wife. I always appreciate how you use reclaimed wood for most of your projects and make something beautiful out of them. I've been listening to the back catalogue of The Three Northern Makers podcast and just got to the episode where you and Pierre talk about what your second channels would be about if you had them. I think you've done a great job of weaving in your mental health advice into your woodworking videos and it really makes them something special and more interesting than "I've made this project today". Keep up the great work!

Anyway thanks so much for watching and listening cheers Ben

Great looking table! I am unsure if you ever tried, but an impact driver works far better for driving screws, than a drill. A drill is best for making holes. An impact gun installs screws. Though it makes a bit of a racket, it is far easier to run the screw in without marring the head. Also, because the torque isn't constant and instead alternates rapidly, it is less likely to break/shear the screw.

    • @SteveBellCreates

This is the best DIY desk shelf I’ve seen. Well done mate. Defo looks as good as those expensive American ones. However I must admit if you spent £30 on just glue and that small second shelf plywood. I think overall if you’re having to buy everything it probably won’t be that cheap to make. And grovemade do use premium materials I’ll give them that. Plus the labour as this does take some craftsmanship and mustn’t forget taxes. As well as other costs I’ve not mentioned I think it can start to add up. Although still I’m not buying one nor am I advocating others to buy, I can understand why they’re expensive now.
