To be honest, this guy totally don't know how to play long sword.

Watching someone experience MH for the first time, really any of them, is like crack. I've never cared about seeing someone experience a franchise until MH. Something special about seeing the realization and infatuation grow as the game unlocks. Very smart to document it! Thanks for sharing, mate.

It's so funny when you see comments and people rage about the armor; how would anyone possibly understand what it even meant to use if they go in blind!? I've been playing MH since PS2, but someone with literally 0 experience would obviously take the cooler looking higher number gear, not knowing what that was doing to the experience. Getting mad is so dumb lol

I can see the problem, the long sword is the best counter weapon in the game. But you've never used the counter. Bow is the best Focus Strike weapon in the game. But you've never used this move. You don't know the strengths of the weapons you use. So it makes your hunting time very long. I reccomend you watch speedrun clips the weapon you interest and follow them move by move.

Fortnite has always been a playable ad. It's flooded with all kinds of bs and sponsored content already. Also, the main demographic of Fortnite consists of players between the ages of 18-24. It's a 70/30 male/female player base. This is actually an incredibly smart move by the Harris campaign. All that aside, voting is actually one of the greatest things someone can do, so I'm all for encouraging it no matter who a person votes for. And honestly I'd rather see this than another Nike, Nissan, or Coca-cola, which all actually happened. Like I said, Playable. Ad.

And ya know what's even better? Us Europeans now have to deal with American propaganda shoved in our face too. (I don't play fortnite, but I'm still here for logic and ethics)

Yo as a former GS user, Barioth is very very hard to fight. Props on that you're doing great! I'd suggest you try the 50 shades of white MR event quest as it unlucks one of the prettiest weaponsets of all time (and is a good rematch to hone your skills) You said someone told you to not parry, if you dislike parrying, get it out of your gameplay, if you enjoy pressing a button to minimise damage at the cost of stamina and sharpening, you should do as you please! If parrying is rewarding for you, consider getting Handycraft or stamina buffing skills to make them less costly! MH is not about playing your weapon like everyone, the weapons are complex enough for you to have a conection to a special playstyle, altho you might not have the highest DPS at the end it's all about having fun (exept alatreon but that aint important for now) while hunting! As a solo player or just doing it your self the first time barrioth is tough wall that kicks your teeth in and eats you up and shits you out while bashing your face in

mechanic to the fullest. You can use the clutch claw on the monster and wallbang it with slinger ammos which will gives you a massive free damage. Keep training. You will get there

try to use slingshot ammo, you can rush to TCS(the last and most damage slash) right after the first charged slash by slinger burst. When you combo all 3 charged slashes, you are putting a lot commitment that can lead to punishments. You can also run them into walls to stun them by clutch claw and expending all your slingshot ammo when they are not agitated. You should always sharpen your weapon as the sharpness is also your weapon damage multiplier.

not an actual GS main so you don't have to take my opinion for good advice but, I think you might want to start using the charge dash a bit more, theres a few times you could have avoided damage using that, good gameplay anyways. GL with iceborne!

After I die and lose the health buff I always just chug a max potion or nutrients after respawning cause the base hp bar is just too low to survive any combos and avoid chain dying
