This is a review of the Doc Artisan Sport Wallet V5 Case after using it for two weeks.
Hi Thank you. What code did it read, that you new the issue was the solenoid? Thank you
Ummmm ummmm ummmm
Mine's been in limp mode for about a year. I use it only locally, and it's fine like that.
You Sir are a savior, thank you.
Am I missing something I didn't see no Soleniods getting changed
Pitch black view. That really helps...
This is what I was looking for. That top screw is toughie to get to. Thanks for the idea
I swear to God, can you people not make a freaking video without all theses Ummm’s and ahhh’s. Jesus Christ. Talk normal. Shit! 😡
I know it's been a long time since you uploaded this video. But Thanks for keeping it up. I'm facing the Same exact problem with a 2012 Caravan and it looks the same. I appreciate you !
Horrible video
My moms van 2010 town and country has a new transmission and shift solenoid and it’s still not shifting we also replaced a bunch of speed sensors does anyone know why it’s still stuck in second has anyone else had this problem still after replacing basically everything
It's the tipm..was never the transmission itself
Mine hasn’t gotten into limp mode it down shifts bad
Hope a 2010 is the same. Thanks for for posting.
Does we need to drain oil?
Thank u so much. I have been in limp mode for a year. Trans specialist told me it was 5k for a new Trans. Such bullshit.
I got a Grand caravan 2008 I got a transmission from a salvage yard with the same VIN number do I have to program that transmission in that van Grand caravan 3.8 l
No you don’t need to. Good luck 🍀
I have an 09, Chrysler town and country 3.8 v6, touring, 25th anniversary. Does have close to 193,000 miles. Im 2nd ower. Van is from Florida. Van has had two transmission flushes from 1st owners. They never beat on this van. It was my grandparents van... one night on my way home from work, i took off from a red light in town, it took of fine, shifted into second gear fine, i notice the RPMs are climbing and not shifting to 3rd gear. I let off the gas thinking it would go in third gear. It idles down like its in neutral,🤔. I step back on gas and it revs back up till it catches same spot in second gear. When this happens, some times it will take off from a stop in second gear but i can let off gas pedal, and press it a little further and I can feel it drop down in first gear and it will shift fine. Other times i have no choice but to pull it over, put van in park, shut the van off all the way, restart the van right back up without waiting, put in drive, and it will shift through all the gears like its brand new?!? When i do restart it, and take off again, it shifts very smooth, dont miss any gear, dont stick in any gear, it shifts perfectly then! Then it might not act up with not shifting problem for another day, other times it might do the same thing after two or three stop lights. Another thing i have noticed is where you can shift it manually.... (where you can pull shifter past drive, and shift up and down by hand ) will not work when it acts like this, it wont even show on dash thats its in 2nd gear. Nothing shows at this point. I'm stuck between the issue being a speed sensor, shift solenoid, or i have heard of a computer/brain for the transmission... most of these components are a little out of my price range since my kids and I lost their mother from a drunk driver taking her from us Dec, 15th 2018. So any extra cash goes to keeping kids and i under a roof. So if anyone can let me know where the issue lays, I'd more then great full. I also do all my own mechanical work. I was raised on a junk yard and can safely say i personally never took my vehicle in a shop. I have took it to part stores and had them scanned, because its easier to trace some things down. Have took it to OReilly and plugged in obd2 but didnt really give me an answer to a specific part... thanks in advance for any advice. SO SORRY FOR TYPING A DAMN CHAPTERS BOOK!! Just tried to get as many details in here for people who can help me understand this on-going issue...😒
I have the exact same issue on my '13. I was hoping that the solenoid replacement in the video was the key to fixing this but would love to hear some confirmed cases of this working.
I had this happen to me the other day. Wouldn’t shift into 3 rd. No engine light so I thought the clutch packs got worn out. Today I took it out and had all gears.. I gave a good shot of fuel and after a few times it stopped shifting again, this time it threw a p076A for the shifter solonoid “H” hopefully replacing this fixes the problem and I don’t have worn out clutch packs.
I have a 2009 VW routan and has same exactly problems like yours and has same transmission I will try to change solenoid myself
You could replace the solenoid maybe300
I have a 2013 doge grand caravan thats stuck in limp mode. And its throwing a P0760 code overdrive solenoid contol circuit. Do you know which soliend this is or which one i have to change? The vehicle has 87,000 miles on it
My 2017 is throwing P0750, P0882, and P076A. The tcm isn't communicating with the ECM. Shift solenoid A and H are stated to be faulty as well. Any advice would be great.
It's the tipm
So my dad has this code, and a mechanic told him something to the effect of, “i have to drop the transmission, and if I see metal shavings it’s gonna cost $4k, and if not, it’s gonna be $1k…” is he just whistling Dixie?
What year make model of your vehicle and what is it not doing as far as repairs on your vehicle?
A bad solenoid pack and a person trying to get away by not giving it a lot of gas to make it shift it will destroy that transmission when it falls back to a lower gear and person tries to keep up with traffic in second it will burn the transmission up as long as you replace the solenoid pack when needed you'll never have a problem with that transmission
you don't have to disconnect the upper radiator hose, just lift the reservoir up out of it's clip on and then lower it down and remove from below. It's also easier by removing the battery and battery tray, not hard to do, gives you much more room to work...
I Have to do mine next week. Funny thing is the solenoid didn't even go into limp mod. It just stopped in the middle of the road. Thanks for the info on the caskets.
So how did you get the plate off
I am stuck in limp modewith code P1745 pressure too high. Would this solenoid cause that if it were faulty?
Did you ever figure out how to fix the van ?I have the sme problem and code.
Hi there I have 2011 Dodge caravan when I am trying to shift in reverse? It's not taking the gear it doesn't do anything The issue is only the reverse one when I shift into reverse. Nothing happens the car does not move can you advise me what can be the issue
Why do people like this guy waste their time just, uhhhh talking about absolutely nothing?! What, uhhh waste.
I bought a remanufactured one of these and it died before 200 miles went by. I can't remember where I bought it on line because it was several months ago and finally got installed this week. It has a "lifetime warranty that does me no good since I can't remember what company I bought it from. Sh*t!!!
He didnt show anything. Its alot of bolts and the 3 pipes inside are hard to line up so u have to drop bottom pan to see....
Was it fairly easy
I did the front one but it was ok.
I got the right one. I wish I would've watched this video first. Thank you
What would have helped was if you said that after you remove the cover, you need to remove the plate holding the entire unit to the transmission.
Didn’t fix my problem? Any ideas?
Wow
Hello I have a 2011 Dodge Grand caravan and I have the same issue my car goes into limp mode and it won’t make it up 40mph I replace the shift solenoid already but it seems like it didn’t work I ordered a new ECU and it still won’t shift up 2 gear what would the problem be now ? Do you have any suggestions? Help please I replaced the speed sensor too I just don’t know what to do anymore !
It's the tipm
Bro After I change Torque Converter and solenoid sensor I drove 10 km and car locked up in 3rd gear , can go only Parking mode N R and 3rd gear. 2011 3.6 caravan. What might be the problem? Is throwing p0774 code engine light on

Thanks for the video
Mine won't engage on park
This just started happening on mine , do you know what it is and how did you fix it if you did ?
Would’ve been better to visually see what you were talking about.🤷🫠

Hello did you fix it I replaced the shift solenoid and it still won’t shift too what can I do ?
Great video!
I have a 2008 Grand Caravan. I was thinking this might be the issue but not sure. I park the van down hill slightly. Today i went to back out from where i'm parked and the van started rolling forward until the rpms got to 1500rpm and then it started moving backward. Same thing going forward..doesn't start to move until about 1500rpms. I went down the street and noticed it has a vibration or something..feels like the passenger front side. Any idea what this is?
That's transmission slippage
It must take forever to order something to eat at a fast food restaurant for you .uuugh ya ham uuugh burger uuugh a Hugh coke uughhhhhhh fries uuugh. Uuugh. Uughh

My wife’s 2017 will not go into “D” drive. When it neutral it shows reverse when trying to put it in Park it sticks in reverse etc could in reverse an move or neutral and roll but not drive and no forward movement. What could it be?
Have no codes or lights on. Did try an disconnect the neg battery and no luck.
Wish I could be a help on that. With no lights or codes, I’d be pretty in the dark on it. Sorry.
I have a 2016 Grand Caravan with 85k miles. Yesterday I was driving and heard a whining sound. I was in a bad area at the time so I jumped on the highway, drove about 10 miles, and when I exited the highway, after coming to a stop, the van wouldn't go. It wasn't catching gears for a few seconds then finally caught gears enough to get it to the side of the road [no lights on dash]. I called a couple people, and decided to take a chance to go another 15 miles home. The ENTIRE TIME it would only go up to 2nd gear and sometimes wouldn't even do that. I finally got it home. There are still no warning lights on. I checked the trans fluid level with my scored oil dipstick [I learned to do this from other YT mechanics], and it read way too high. The fluid itself did not smell burnt and looked ok. I siphoned about 1.5 qt out to get it right at the top of the hot line. It's still having the same issue. Still no warning lights. This is our only vehicle. Advice would be MOST APPRECIATED. Thank you in advance! Update: I disconnected the battery for a while and reconnected it. From what I read, that exited "limp mode." The van started to go then I heard the whining sound again, and the same thing happened [STILL NO WARNING LIGHTS ON]. I don't know how to diagnose it.
Update 2: After disconnecting the battery again, I finally got the van to throw code P083B
@@ourhousedeals5152 Did you ever get it fixed? I used to pull over and take the key out, eventually the problem went away with just warming the car up more before driving
@@pedroariza7892 What I did fixed the problem but a new engine code came on so I just sold the van.
I already replaced solenoid pack and sensor works good for about 10 miles .after that same problem again no shifting stays In first gear . Anybody has an Ideal what can be.??

Did it fix
Yes. The van is still going strong almost two years later.
