    Actually, if we look at historical facts, since the Dutch colonial occupation, there was a study that stated that Batavia (the early name of Jakarta at that time) had a city carrying capacity of only around 500K population and in 1930 the Dutch East Indies government had planned to move the capital from Batavia to Bandung, and built military barracks, a building housing the colonial Department of State-Owned Enterprises (Department van Gouvernmentsbedrijven, nicknamed Gedung Sate), and several others. This plan did not come to fruition following the failure of the Dutch because Japan had invaded and succeeded in occupying the Dutch East Indies in 1942 during World War II. So what's wrong with moving the capital city as an independent country and Jakarta is trying to continue to exist as a business and trade city with future improvements that are not mixed with the center of government that adds to the burden and complexity of the city. Besides that, do you know Mount Krakatoa which is very close to Jakarta which is located in the Sunda Strait? The volcanic volcano erupted on August 27, 1883 with an explosion that could be heard 4900 km away, throwing 20 cubic kilometers of hot rock into the air. The massive eruption also caused a 36-meter tsunami and killed around 36,000 people. Not only that, the tsunami hit many surrounding areas and even South America. This caused a drop in global temperatures of up to 1°C and lasted for several years afterward. The temperature only returned to normal after 5 years, namely in 1888. Apart from Krakatoa which is still active, Indonesia has 130 other active volcanoes because the southern region of Indonesia is located on the Ring of Fire and is the country with the most active volcanoes in the world which has a high risk of earthquakes and safety threats. It is impossible for the country to allow the location of the capital city of the former colonial era to paralyze the government if a similar disaster occurs in the future. Indonesia has conducted studies and plans to move the capital since the first president, because the lolitics situasion of that era were instable making it not happen, and then followed with economy challenges in the next presidency after and after. Until now the economic growth significantly as new emerging country as new industrial country that has many good progress to built new capital city targeted will done in 20 years. My opinion about this video presentation must also have a valid reference base, for example the location used is not a rainforest or untouched forest but a production forest area as an industry of epcalitus trees and palm trees plantations for paper and palm oil production which is harvested once every 6 months.

    I highly recommend Vernor Vinges Essay "The Coming Technological Singularity" from 1993. It shows how early the idea appeared to forward thinker like Claude Shannon and Johann von Neumann, and has held up surprisingly well for such a fast moving tech area.

      @thetvschannel 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for the insightful recommendation! Vernor Vinge's essay indeed marks a pivotal moment in our understanding of the technological singularity, and the foresight of thinkers like Shannon and von Neumann continues to be a beacon for those exploring the frontiers of technology, including AGI. It's fascinating to see how these early visions are shaping our current discussions and developments. One concept that interests me in particular is the concept of the 'event horizon' in the context of the singularity is particularly intriguing-where beyond a certain point, our models of the future become unpredictable due to the emergence of superintelligent entities.

    It's important to clarify that when referring to the "untouched forests of Borneo" in our video, our intention was to evoke the rich biodiversity and vast landscapes for which Borneo is renowned. However, we recognize the oversight in not specifying that parts of Borneo are indeed managed for agricultural and industrial purposes, including palm oil and eucalyptus plantations. Such areas are part of a complex environmental and economic web that includes both conservation efforts and industrial use. We are committed to providing accurate and insightful content and appreciate your input, which helps us improve. Thank you for being part of our informed and engaged community.

    But do rural communities have the necessary training and resources to ensure the proper operation and longevity of their solar systems?

    • @thetvschannel
      @thetvschannel 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's a valid concern. For solar power to truly be a sustainable solution for rural communities, it's essential that these communities have access to training and resources for the maintenance and operation of solar systems. Many solar projects now include educational programs and technical support as part of their implementation strategy. Additionally, partnerships with local organizations and governments can provide ongoing support and resources. The aim is to empower communities not just with solar technology, but with the knowledge and skills to maintain it, ensuring its long-term impact and sustainability.

    • @thetvschannel
      @thetvschannel 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You've raised an important point. The initial investment in CEA can indeed be substantial, highlighting the need for economic models that are inclusive of producers of all scales, not just large corporations. It's essential for the industry to explore and develop financing solutions, subsidies, and technological innovations that can lower entry barriers for small-scale producers. Additionally, community-supported agriculture (CSA) models, co-operatives, and public-private partnerships could play significant roles in making CEA more accessible. The goal is to create a sustainable food system that benefits everyone, fostering diversity and resilience within our agricultural practices.

    Can the long-term cost savings from reduced reliance on traditional fuels offset the initial investment in solar power? and what are the environmental impacts associated with the manufacturing and disposal of solar panels?

    • @thetvschannel
      @thetvschannel 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great questions! The long-term cost savings from solar power can indeed offset the initial investment, with many systems paying for themselves in just a few years due to reduced electricity bills and, in some cases, incentives like feed-in tariffs. As for the environmental impact, it's true that manufacturing and disposing of solar panels involve energy and resources. However, the solar industry is increasingly adopting recycling practices and improving the sustainability of materials used in panels. Plus, the overall environmental benefits of reduced fossil fuel consumption and lower greenhouse gas emissions during the operational life of solar panels significantly outweigh these impacts. It's all about balancing initial costs and impacts with long-term benefits.

      Absolutely, your insight is spot on! Living off-grid does come with its unique set of challenges, but the integration of solar power into these settings is proving to be a game-changer. Not only does it provide a reliable and sustainable source of energy, but it also fosters empowerment by giving communities control over their power supply. This autonomy, combined with the environmental benefits of using clean energy, truly creates a win-win scenario that enhances both local living conditions and the global ecosystem. It's inspiring to see how solar power is lighting the path towards a more sustainable and empowered future for off-grid communities.

      barat ketika masih miskin,mereka melakukan apa saja,merampok,menjarah,membunuh,apalagi merusak alam itu hal terakhir yang akan mereka pikirkan ketika mereka kaya,tiba tiba mereka menjadi malaikat yang mengurui semua orang tentang kebaikan dan kebenaran lucu ketika mereka menunjuk orang lain dengan jari telunjuk mereka sebenarnya menunjuk diri mereka sendiri dengan empat jari tersisa😂😂
