Speed Racer is one of my favorite movies ever. I love its cast performances, characters, stylized CGI, action scenes, interesting flashbacks, cinematography, visual effects, and musical score and soundtrack😍🥰💖💜💙🌈🦄📱

Ok. How is it that there are mach 6 in both this race and the next race after talking to rollten? Then in the last race they make another mach 6. Do they just have parts laying about or what?
@@patrickpringle8123 he drove that in the other Race with the mountain. The Mach 5 is used to drive around where as the Mach 6 is used for racing. When the Mach 6 was destroyed Speed used the Mach 5 because it was the only car available
At this point in the movie he wasn't ready to be the man, but he knew he could do it, that was good enough. If there had of been a sequel they should have had him take it in the first scene, proving he was ready
I love how speed is chasing his brothers Racing line. Chasing Rex as you see for the turns nearing the end of the race. He gets close the his brothers shadow but doesn't touch it shows speed has excellent car control imaging if his brother was on the track with him, if Rex was not receiving death threats towards him, and his family. Rex and Speed would have been the fastest race team ever.
I like how they got the original speed racer in this movie too. He's playing one of the announcers. He also played Spritle in Speed Racer: The Next Generation
Good scene, but quality of video is awful. But it have a good side - we cannot recognize how awful is that CGI, because really, that effects are the only problem of movie :D
I 100% believe that all the safety stuff that happens in the movie is because of Rex. Whether it was the way he drove or his crash, cause I don’t think that he’d been able to fake his death as well as he did if the bubble stuff was a built in feature to every car.
I think the thing that is really interesting that I never fully noticed is how Rex Racer drove with rear 180 axis wheels and regular wheels on the front while everyone else drove on full 180 axis wheel sets. Rex had far more skill than any of his competitors. With only his brother who understood his Rex’s way of racing better than anyone coming close to matching even surpassing him.
if you look at renders of the mach 4 online you can even see how the front wheels don't have the swivel mechanism like the back wheels do. i never realized this. so freaking cool wtf
The only thing I don’t like about this scene, or the rest of the movie, is the lack of English subtitles for all those commentators who don’t speak in English.
Local fan favorite Speed Racer is gobbling up this track. (Speaks Italian) (Speaks Japanese) (Speaks Russian) Let’s hope he doesn’t make the same mistakes his brother did.

in the movie, speed stated that the quick save (the bubble at 1:21 ) was disconected. so, the reasons for the safety was before rex's "fatal" crash

I always thought it was nice how speed slowed down at the end.
"He is not alone out there, he is chasing someone! He is chasing the ghost of Rex Racer!"
I never knew what that meant until a rewatch which made it even more deep
