Greetings, I have the same car in the same colour in the same country! There are not many of us Cube owners in Germany I think. I also lowered mine by the same amount and it handles really well now. Also I have the same problem with my front bumper when I came to fit my smaller licence plate in a clean way 😅 Your Cube looks really great on those wheels. Nice choice. I look forward to more updates!

Ich hab meine auch so gebaut, nur ist diese ca 10 cm höher. Ist viel besser zum drunter arbeiten.

Hallo Jumo, ich habe ebenfalls einen Mr 2 W3, seit 13 Jahren. Das Auto macht mir eine riesen Freude. Für mich ist eine Sache sehr wichtig zu wissen. Nachdem du die Vorkats "leer" gemacht hast, hat die AU trotzdem funktioniert? Wenn ja, war es schwierig, oder ist alles glatt durchgelaufen? Das wäre mir eine Riesenhilfe, wenn du mir das beantworten würdest :). LG

Keine Angst, statisch bricht da ein 2 to. Fahrzeug nicht ein. Vll. wäre es günstig, eine Sicherung gegen horizontal einwirkende Kräfte noch einzubauen. Diese Kräfte entstehen massiv bei abruptem Abbremsen des Fahrzeugs auf der Rampe, oder auch bei Anstoss an einen Überrollschutz. Aber, immer gilt: bitte einen Statiker über die Pläne drüberschauen lassen, wenn auch nur die geringste Unsicherheit über die Tragkraft und Tragfähigkeit besteht.

Glad the mods are coming along well, would be nice to see an update with stock/mod comparisons. It's a shame the mk1a did not utilize the side intake, i will need to look into finding a way to route air from underneath the engine bay to my air filter pod. It would be nice if you were to come with a quick 3d printer mold to display a 1:64 scale AW11 model that Matchbox recently released on top of the centre console, or perhaps another more functional use for that space. I would like to display my scale AW11 but it would frequently move around and fall off when I am doing spirited driving lol. One more area where it may be useful to have is the shift boot mounting points. The brackets snap off on some more well used cars and it is difficult to get new boots to fit like how it did OEM. Maybe an alternative mounting method may be useful to look into. At one point I was looking to do a more simple Miata like rubber shift boot (www.topmiata com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/jass-performance-central-console-delete-kit-2.jpg), but mounting would of been difficult so I went back to the original cloth boot. I like your t-shirt/hoodie designs esp the miami vice neon colour Touge Tribute design. Unfortunately I don't speak German and I am unsure which option is for mens as I see many options for men. Would it possible to have an english toggle and how much would shipping be to Toronto, Canada area? Would love to see more neon-negative space AW11 designs as well. Thanks!

What is the front lip you're using?

The engine cover piece is turning out great with the snap fit and seal to keep out rain (and snow!). I wonder if you would be able to print out a oil dipset handle extender, I sometimes burn my hand if I check my oil while the engine is still warm as the stick resides very far down. Not sure if the composite would last in high temp environment though.
