In some weeks i gonna buy my 3. guitar aswell and it gonna be a Yamaha-GL1 Guitarlele. This sound comes so close to the old music that was played on a harp 🥰 Dracapalley was my inspiration aswell to learn Keith Hinchliffes doctor john stafford arrangement and to buy the GL-1 soon. wonderful performance Ian !!! That's right, the Guitalele is a small exciting musical instrument that I also use but my guitalele mark "Stagg" is a horror that does not fit the tuning. Certainly a problem of frets. A question: Could you tell me where to get the score of this beautiful music? I hope you put a lot of other music on your youtube channel. Musically Phil

Hi, TWFianMurray; I love your Audio/video posts, especially the tiny guitarlele. I really felt your comment on the Reynauds issue. Playing string instruments can be strenuous on your back and shoulders. The strain of constantly reaching around an instrument can cause all sorts of issues. I would like to suggest you invest in yourself and find a chiro who does deep-tissue work. The combination of massage and chiropractic changed my back, and changed my life. I'm almost 60 & still performing.

I'm not nearly as good a player as you and I've been working on Keefchap's version for about 2 years now - almost got it - but your version helped me through some parts that have been holding me back (after the 12/8 where it goes back to 3/4). I probably love this piece better than any other - thanks for posting. Dennis

That was lovely. I play this on the harp, but it sounds equally nice on the guitarlele :) You have given me a great present idea as to what to get for my boyfriend for the holiday. He was already interested in getting a parlor guitar. Do you know if the guitarlele is a similar size as a parlor guitar or is it smaller?

This should be an advert for the yamaha gl1. I was looking for a sound sample. This sold me. Truly beautiful.

@GerritGuitar sorry about the delay, thanks very much for your comment. I love this arrangement. The strings are just elixir phosphor bronze nanoweb - .012 - .053. The lowden is great, I find the F more comfortable to play than the O model. I used a cheap usb mic and recorded directly into garage band, added a bit of reverb and that's pretty much it. I'd like to try a Mcllroy sometime
