I didn’t need an app to use Android Auto. I just plugged it in with a USB cable. Since phones can vary by manufacturer, maybe check to see if there is an update for Android Auto. I hope this helps you out, I use Apple iPhone.

Make sure the cable you use is not just for charging. I had a cheap cable once that only charged, no data. Not sure if this is a thing, but I hope that helps. I also had to clean the port on my device.

The power cable that is connected to the 12 volt system is the power source. As far as I am aware, you cannot charge it. It must be connected to power at all times to function.

There is quite a bit to do to keep these in good shape. I like to think that it is all part of the experience!

No built in GPS. The GPS is provided by Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

This unit does have parking mode. The settings menu does state a hardwire kit is required.

Hello. CB systems rely heavily on a good ground to function. A magnetic CB antenna uses the metal surface it is magnetically attached to as a ground plane. The mount in this video is a truck stake hole mount with a ground strap. This would mount to your track’s stake hole mount, so there is no need to drill extra holes. I do not have any history with a glass mount antenna, but I hear they are not too great and have a high SWR. I do not understand your remark about being clickbait. This video was never meant to be clickbait, or to generate ad revenue. The name of this video is “Remember to Ground Your CB Antenna”. Hello! Just peal the plastic strip off the dash cam mount and it exposes adhesive. Then, just stick it to your windshield. It sticks right away. So make sure it is where you want it.

Oh no. Sorry to hear that. There is a video on the Amazon product page that goes over a few things that may help. You can use the link in the description of this video to get there. Also, maybe try a full charge with a USB cable and see if that helps. My display went completely dark when the internal battery was depleted. I gave it a quick charge, and everything started working as if nothing ever happened. I press the up arrow to cycle information from PSI to tire temperature. Let me know if you get everything working again! If you are still having issues, reach out to them. Maybe they can set everything straight. Hope it works out for you!
