To stop the fine gold from floating just put a wisker of a drop of dish detergent in the water. It gets rid of the surface tension so the gold won't float.
Wow
Did it cost you $300 a year to use a sluice? It cost me $18 per day to pan.
What type of sluice to you use and what do you use for final cleanup?
@@KeithPhillpott I used the Keene river sluice with Gold Hog matting. I used the Talon and other aggressive mats for sluicing. I classify to 1/2 inch. Then for clean out I switch Gold Hog mats for a clean out config. Low slow flow for clean out. Then pan these concentrates. I never did the dredge membership. But after talking with Nate, using a 3 inch nozzle and hose, dredging a couple hours daily. He said he did over 2 grams a day. He said his best spots were on the lower end of the day use spaces and middle to far side of creek. Because of the huge boulders there, Nate said deepest anyone has gotten is 12 feet down. Just Panning, it would be difficult to run enough material to make it worth it. Difficult to shovel with all the rocks. Hope this helps.
💪🏽sub 231 great work 😊
Thanks 🔥
Amazing video. Liled and subbed. Congrats🎉🎉🎉🎉
I went out there twice this summer. I didn't find anything, but I am a beginner. Hopefully next summer with new equipment i will have better luck.
Give it another try. You’ll find a good spot. Best time is right after flood waters recede. Work the gravels down stream of the boulders. This area refreshes with each spring flood. Best gold is across the creek. 😊
Thank you. I know you cannot mine at the top and on the other side of the river. They have a map outlined of where you can mine.
Could you tell me the name of the song at the end?
That is a 1 AM jam with a rock band I used to play in. Thanks ❤
Just amazing work fam. Great job all around. Keep on having fun getting that Au and living the dream. Gold Squad Out 🤠

That is a lot of rock throwing! How deep is bedrock?
Never found bedrock. We went about 7 feet down. A little gold was there but less and less as we went deeper. But, yea, a lot of rock throwing!
Want to go broke, invest in gold prospecting equipment 😂
If you aren't using it correctly or aren't in the right spot absolutely.
We started out small, Bob with the Gold Cube and I had a little 7 inch wide sluice. As gold fever set in we of course expanded. But always stayed with placer in creeks and rivers. Once we set up to our liking, we haven't had to purchase anything new. As Tony Beets says, 'drill drill drill'. In other words you got to do the leg work to find something worth mining.
Ive done some dredging. You gotta go deep. The shallow stuff was stripped away on the last rip snorting rise. But when you go deep, that hard packed clay is gonna mean some work, not to mention the overburden just flows into your hole faster than your suction hose can take it out. Bog rocks near the bottom? You may be about to find gold, but you gotta dig like you know its down there. Sometimes its not.
have you dredged the Arkansas River before? We were quite tempted to continue downwards in our hole, but limited time and other prospects forced us to move on. So those composite rocks we found are bog rocks? Shoot, we should have punch down more. Ah well, next year. Thanks for your comments.
That's what I'm talking about fam. Get you some. Keep on having fun getting that Au and living the dream. Gold Squad Out 🤠

Looks like Idaho
Idaho is a beautiful place. But unfortunately Idaho has become very restrictive to dredging. We miss “the gem state”. 😢
can you make a video for the oxygen compressor part so I can see it more clearly
I will see if I have any video of that process. Basically, the motor powers the compressor with pulleys and belt. The compressor is from Keene. You can go to Keene, www.keene.store/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=263GH and see the specs. Hope this helps. 😊
@@goldprospectingwith3mm322 I already have a compressor machine but I don't know how to attach it to the machine
Ok great. The compressor should be putting out about 45 psi. Use standard air hose connectors, the yellow air line is best for human breathing, then use a low pressure regulator (can buy from Amazon for less than $100.) A harness and clip of some kind to hold the hose in place on your back. Otherwise the regulator can be pulled out of your mouth. And you should be good to go. Hope this helps.

A regulator is connected with the yellow hose to an air compressor run by the engine. 😊
I was thinking about buying a dredge. I wonder if you guys wish you had a 6 inch dredge , or the 4 inch enough .thanks
We wish we had a 6 inch.. it would move more material. But in Colorado a 4 inch is the largest dredge we can use without getting the Forest Service involved. A 4 inch does a good job for us here, a 6 inch would be a lot of work to move around. Keene and Proline make nice dredges to consider. 😊
Right on! Get that AU... HEAVY PANS!!!
Looks like hard pack the bottom of an ancient Greek or riverbed. It's just hardened over time you should find gold on top of it if it's in the area. Or if you can find the hardback break through it
We gave up on finding bedrock. there was very little gold deep down.
Good location , good gold prospecting video , and glad you showed and used various gold prospecting techniques . But the music ran me off !
Thanks 👍

Thanks for sharing
Is this her first time in the water with a regulator? It looks like she did good and will only get better as she gets more comfortable. Loved the underwater shots. They showed what was going on. Thanks for sharing.
Yes, this is Marietta’s first time with a wet suit and regulator. She did very well and she will get back into the hole again soon. 😊 Thank you ❤
