yup. thank you. :) it’s definitely less annoying.
What is your feedback on the levers now?
Still pleased with the levers. No signs of wear or damage and still operate and adjust smoothly. No apparent colour fade either although garaged when not in use. Would still wholeheartedly recommend.

Sehr schöne Soundkulisse mit diesem Motorrad. Auch die Bechleunigung sieht stark aus. Dafür dürfen beide sich nochmals an den Kurs "wie fahre ich Kurven richtig" anmelden. Am Liebsten würde ich den Arm oder das Bein heraus halten wenn mir solche Motorradfahrer entgegen kommen. An der Mittellinie entlang oder wenn keine Linie vorhanden ist fährt man in der Mitte. Danke für das super Beispiel wie es nicht gemacht werden soll.

I really enjoyed the ride. Going up seems fun. I don't think I would enjoy returning down hill with all the weight on my wrists, etc.

Thank you Very Much, for allowing us to see the entire route! I was thinking of doing it this coming summer, but now that I've seen what it's like, I doubt that I will. I ride with my wife, and 25-26 tight turns, plus watching out for other bikes, cars, etc. staying vigilant the entire way to avoid a crash....would reduce my chances of enjoying the scenery. Now I know. So thanks for sparing me the trip. I'll focus this summer on the Sella Ring, where I think we can stop and absorb the atmosphere a bit more. I really appreciate your effort and your sharing.

Hi, very nice bike, can you please tell me if your v-trec levers are the same as 2014-2016 model? I want to buy it for my 2017 but the shop told me that fits only on 14-16 model but maybe they're wrong. Can you also please give me the link of where you bought them? Thanks a lot Alessandro
The levers I bought were "V-Trec KTM 1290 Super Duke/ R 14-17" there was no specific 2017 model. I presume from this the levers are all the same.

Strange. I'm not 100 percent sure if there has been a change since i bought mine or why motea now list as 14-16 rather than 14-17. Perhaps contact and ask? Nguyễn Huy Lộc Evotech have a new design for the 2017 radiator. It means the new model must have had some changes. The old one might fit and it might be worth trying if your already have it. I wouldn't count on it working though, if you are buying one just get the one designed for the 2017.

Classified - you need to remove the silver bushing from the original lever and place it into the VTREC one on the clutch side. I did the same thing as you at first.

cykocyko Very easy, pull on the two retention clips at the rear and unsecure the velcro strap at the front. It's ideal as you don't need to remove for fuelling.

Do you have any problem with the indicators on your tail tidy?
Yes and No. I've semi modified the way the stock LED indicators mount to the Rizoma tail tidy so the overall width is less. Even so they still slightly foul the inside of the panniers. Some slight rubbing but nothing serious. If you want to be 100 percent you would need to use a slimmer profile tail tidy or aftermarket indicators which are smaller.

+xristos tzovaras I only use them to tour. I'm away again soon and have bought an anti slip mat to place between the paintwork and panniers to prevent any further wear. It's the only downside for an otherwise perfect product.

+Twisty McTwist one of the few stock exhaust systems I have left on and not instantly replaced. Sounds pretty fruity and the pops are awesome. Still, super tempted by a full TI antisocial system!
