This murder has much in common with the Borden murders. No evidence of an intruder, the only known presence was members of the household. Families were prominent members of the community with a great deal of wealth. My biggest question is why would Morrison say that the escape was going to be the next day when he knew that the initial hole that West had to pass through wasn't completed? That would also mean that Wests fake head wasn't complete either. There is something about this 'West' character in this rendition that seems off. Otherwise, this all seems quite feasible. By presenting the open window and the suitcase in those positions, makes it appear there was an intruder, but there were old cobwebs that were undisturbed. it had to have been a worker or someone close to someone who worked there for along time or maybe a worker liked her and she didnt like that person , alarms not going off someone killed her and no videos of things happening and only some videos , i dont think that someone staying at the motel for a short time would do something like this not knowing the motel that well did they even have a lie test on workers there , no but a better cover up

I'm completely on board with the theory that her death was an accident. But there's one thing that's really bizarre to me and is the only thing making me doubt that it's an accident. The elevator. From what I've seen, no one has found a reasonable explanation as to why it wasn't closing after she pressed the buttons and why it did eventually close right after she left. I think that's what makes the tapes eerie, not her behavior. Nonetheless, this is one of the most heartbreaking tragedies that went viral on the internet and my heart goes out to her family and loved ones.

Well, this sucks. The case, I mean; the video is great. The police investigation seemed ripe with mishandling and jumping to conclusions and the behaviour of the parents was really off (washing Cuddle Cat, immediately saying “she’s been kidnapped”, leaving their other two kids alone after discovering a kidnapping, not hiring a babysitter despite being on a doctor’s salary, etc). I know it isn’t nice, but the suspect of a crime is often someone the victim was close to as opposed to a random stranger. And whilst none of this inherently incriminates the parents, it does raise more eyebrows than one of the many people involved in the case offering to help whilst also happening to have Russian friends.
