Just saw your closing message and I have a question for you. Would you do a video on replacing the heat exchanger for the F1 system? Mine failed about two years ago. Nobody wanted to touch it because it is so labor-intensive and very expensive. So knowing a little bit about mechanics, my wife and I did it together. That’s what prompted me to go ahead and do the full Monty on the maintenance of the car. The most tedious part was flushing the gearbox seven times and the cooling system about eight times. One thing that helped I purchased a small endoscopy type tool to check the inside of the gearbox. No residue whatsoever as well as the cooling system. Once again, thank you for your outstanding videos!

I know it’s been three years since you made these videos and obviously they are still fantastic! Thank you very much for making it look simple. Definitely not a task for the fool at heart, the smallest error could be catastrophic and expensive.

Just changed both air struts on the front. Car was fine. 2 days later the front dropped again. Does that mean the Suspension compressor is bad?

I know you did this video a few years ago but that’s the good thing about TH-cam. I saw it two years ago, kept it. Watched it several times and now I’m getting the chance to change the belts.

When cylinder 1 is at the top of the compression stroke both of the marks on the intake and exhaust cam should line up with the marks on the cam cover or be directly across from each other? I’m asking because the vice grip slipped while replacing the belts and I’m trying to get them back to where they should be. I can rotate the engine freely by hand any help is appreciated thank you

I have multiple misfire changed the coils and plugs 2 times a s requested by mechanic still shakes and misfire it all started when wrong gas was put in any suggestions

I ordered the pcv but the one on my car are female the ones they sent me are males like the ones in your videos can i change the lines out to make it compatible with the part which direction should i go in

BTW I had asked you 2 years ago about replacing the heat exchanger on the 360. I decided to do it myself. It’s pretty straightforward even though it’s a pain in the a.. to get it back in and tedious having to change gear box oil and coolant umteen times. It did gave me the chance to replace all parts being removed for new ones including the timing belts. Once again thank you.

I have a BMW 2003 760li it was just serviced at BMW dealership 3 weeeks into driving car started misfiring multiple cylinders a check engine light came on for a moment then went out but still pending did search on youtube your site came up with your troubleshooting procedure . I had decided to try your method which saved me time and money and ordered parts on ebay pcv vavle 2 driver side and passenger side aftermaket cost total at 28$. The pcv vavle on engine was accessible and easy to replace. The car idle excellent and smooth after replacement of pcv vavle was performed. Thanks a million time for sharing your experience.

Good video and I followed your steps but it didnt work for me, my 760Li is still misfiring. The symptoms are a popping sound on idle from the exhaust and a shake in the cabin. Some juddering under acceleration too. Wonder if you have any ideas? (replaced coil packs and sparks whcih also didnt work).

Those hard handled Snappy screwdrivers are the absolute best ever! Cushioned grip is not as precise, plus a good mechanic shouldn't need to "cushion" his/her hands.
