This video is to give a generic idea to non-potters on how we do pottery at home. This is not a tutorial but merely a compilation of many steps to come up with a mug that will eventually find a new home.

The Cordovan combo is beautiful!
Rouhhly how long do you wait for drying layers?
Honestly I don't even know, as long as they are dry. I usually glaze 10 to 12 mugs so buy the time I am done with the last one, the first should be dry unless if it is the last layers then I might wait a few minutes to completely dry.
So so ridiculously awesome! Wonderful work. Is there a way to let me know what clay type you use? Is this like Bmix?
Thanks. We use Stoneware No. 3 from Minnesota Clay
Glad to see you are back doing videos and doing pottery.
That birch and cordovan combo is just yummy under the pink. Yowza.
So happy to see you again! What a great kiln load!! ❤
I’m so happy you are back! I missed your videos🎉🎉
Missed your videos. Thank you
Nice to see your beautiful pots back and you
Good to see you back. Could the ancient copper mugs have accidentally had ancient jasper put on them? I absolutely love the ones with the pink “fringe” top.
hmm.. you have a good point, I certainly need a test tile before continue using that glaze.
Nice to see you back. Sometimes, we just need to take a break! Thanks for sharing your beautiful glaze combos with us, once again!
Nice to see you're back. I always enjoy your videos.
thank you
Beautiful work!❤
It's so beautirul! On the back side of the bowl, you added ancient copper and honey flux but skipped adding blue rutile and purple crystal. But the finished bowl shows blue rutile and purple crystal. why? I am trying to follow this glaze orders on my bisque bowl. Help!!
sorry about that, I guess I did not show fully how I glazed the back side. I did add the blue rutile and purple crystal on the back in same manner on how i added inside the bowl. The only difference is I added the ancient copper at the bottom to catch the glaze as the honey flux combo is so runny as you can see how far the purple crystal ran inside the bowl.

thank you for sharing your talent. It's about the matching fruit bowl, do you apply honey flux inside of the bowl before applying all other glazes? I am a hobby potter and want to try this glaze combo for my bowl.
yes I use honey flux first before layering it with other colors, but if you are talking about the bowl with the ancient copper rim then I did not put honeyflux under it. The rim is plain ancient copper and below it was honeyflux as a base
@@RJMPottery thank you for your response. Your glazed pieces are beautiful!! I am glad that I found your channel and I will keep watching your videos . Thank you again.
Your glaze combinations are amazing!
Looks great, but why did you put your face in the paint?????😮
I saw your videos, I would like to know the mulberry glaze. I dont know if you remember that, but the video is from 2022. I am looking into learning pottery and in the process of learning glazes. Thanks a lot. Amazing pottery you got. Such beautiful mugs. God I wish I can have milkshake in them Ha Ha Ha :)

what clay are you using and what firing range? cone
Stoneware #3 from MN Clay and firing at cone 6
Kannst du mir bitte sagen was das für eine Schleifscheibe ist mit dem du die Glasur abschleifen kannst?🤝🙏
Your glaze combos are beautiful!
Thank you
Beautiful work. How many pounds of clay for the large mugs? Also did you dip or brush?
I usually do 1.4 but got some requests to do some 25+ oz mugs which I use 1 and a half pound of clay
Can you please share the link for the product?
Beautiful work! For the first planter, maybe try putting over the aurora green honey flux. It gave me a beautiful turquoise green. Thanks for sharing all your glaze combination❤
Very nice thank you for sharing
You are so inspiring!!! Thank you
Do I have this right? You are putting glazes that are not food-safe on vessels that look like glasses to drink from. I consider that a bad idea. 2. I don't find the glazes attractive. They remind me of something moldy or damaged.
They are all test vessels they are clearly marked and never leave the studio. We have a shelf that all test pieces go so we can refer back to them.
Nice combinations!
What was this fired at?
cone 6
Always a delight to watch your openings. I've used a number of your combs with great success. Thanks.
What clay do you use?
The beautiful planter you showed with the iron luster, and copper float - what was the name of the Blue you used? Closed captions said Blue Rootel ...??
Iron Lustre, Sapphire Float and Blue Rutile all from AMACO
I can not believe the cordovan combo!! It’s absolutely spectacular!!! Thank you sooo much for sharing all of your work.
Great combos! I love that sangria and pearl with the birch/cordovan. Very nice! Wonder where that blue comes from isn't glazing so amazing sometimes?😍
Could I put wax resist around the bottom of the mug, to stop the glazing dripping too far?
Brilliant work. Love it all.
Yeah that combo is amazing!
They are all gorgeous!
Thank you for sharing! I want to try the Cordovan, birch and sangria combo.
that is my new fave combo
thank you for sharing! always love your combinations! The birch, cordovan, shangria is amazing with the bleu!
Love the birch cordovan combos
What is the height of your mugs , do you pull your handles ?
extruded handles
What is the height ?
around 5.5 inches tall or more when wet
Gorgeous
That platter! ❤️
Love the birch cordovan combo always! The blue rutile on top makes it even more gorgeous ❤️
I’m wondering how you glaze that center on the bottom and it doesn’t stick to your shelves? You have some beautiful combos!
