Harley-Davidson MX250 DMR Dirt Tracker
มุมมอง 42011 หลายเดือนก่อน
This is no "ordinary" DMR. This bike features the ultra rare and very powerful Harley MX250 Competition only engine. This is not your typical SS/SX250 as it features way more aggressive porting, exhaust, and carburetor.

Very nice
Holy schnikes that thing has major balls
Timing?
Pigeon ahh truck 😭
Very nice !!
Sexy! There is one for sell near me, the exact same color!
What’s the top speed on it?
135 or so for mine
This frame was not made for a 350cc motor and it looks to me like there is a danger of the forks compressing so that the front tire makes contact with the cylinder head, causing the front wheel to lock and crash the bike. This is not a CR, it's a Bitsabike.
I had the dt 250 MX great bikes I'm looking for another one from 1977 or thereabouts I have a vgc 1972 suzuki ts 90 us spec bike possible for sale part ex or swap my bikesuzi ts 90 has the original sunset orange paintwork with the impressive snake exuast vo,Mon on the us models co,Mon on usa models where are you based do you ship

I just picked up a 78 AMF SS250 with 23 original miles 🤟
FIRST!!!! and I do own 3 Aermacchis...
That one is tricked the stock cz's were lame you would need -pipe ignition -air box & filter- -flywheel -34 mm mikuni carb -spark plugs 2 - rims -tires fork kit -rear shocks-seat kit -alloy or plastic fuel tanks- throttle assembly kit-cables- front brake & cluth levers & even a few more modifications needed to be competitive in high intermedite professional level motocross ..for all that expensive stuff you could have a MAICO 😂🦧i love CZs i had a brand new 73 250 motocross parents got for me in January 1975 it was a leftover model $600 dollars 💸
Rotax..
Wow is all I can say what a privilege
En el 72 , Jaroslav Falta la llevaría.
I love these checz bikes
Cz FOREVER ❤😊😊😊
What engine mods have been done?
ČZ!
Harley should be making these bikes again, rather than middle class bikers machines.that most can’t afford
Right, Harley is out of it.
Is this a 980cc ? I find it hard to believe.
It is a 380. 980 is a typo.
It is one of the most prized dirt bikes, the number 980 indicates the type of bike, not the cubic centimeters.
HI I have just one question what is your carburetor Mikuni ...... ? thanks for your answer
What a monster!
Looks nice not keen on the front mudguard looks like a crf one
👍✌️😉
I like how skinny it is
*Wow, she is a beauty!*
Cool bike 👍🏻💯
you really didn't warm her up?
Surprised that didn't seize at the end of that😊
😣 'promo sm'
Hello best regards from Poland 😊😊
I had a 1979 370 qualifier, this bike flies, it had a wide ratio gears,I installed mikuni carb 38mm,enough for about 42hp. It was crazy fast. It's a big bike, but once you get going, it's easy to drive. I love it.
I owed 1978 can am 250 the bike was a rocket
My Dad rode one as a courier on a temporary assignment during the D-Day time frame. He’s the reason I have been riding since before I was 16.
Sweet!😀
Legitimately cool.
👍😎
A great bike and i got rid of mine but have two 1977 models with the downpipe wihich i may convert, at the Bultaco shop I worked at in the 70s we called the Frontera the Pursangador because it was basically a Pursang with lights that replaced the Matador and a heavier flywheel. Of course it was more powerful later with the reed valve, we'd ditch the stock shocks for Works Performance, install a Diamond primary and drivechain, add Barnett clutch plates, Mugura quick throttle, Metzler tires to replace the crappy Pirellis, new bars and grips and then you had a deadly enduro weapon. The stock Amal square body carb was as good as a Mikuni really but a good Twin Air filter replaced the junk stocker. I still have all my 125, 250 and 360 Pursangs and on a vintage MX track in the right hands a precision instrument of destruction, the big Maicos may pull the holeshot on you but you get them in thr corners once they start wrestling the weight of those beasts. Eating rocks from the 501 is unforgettable so its best to make a quick pass of the German menace asap lol. I could go on but no one cares. Bultacos are Strong Stuff from Barcelona Spain.
Love to see some photos of the pursang, use to have a mk11 250..
keep it stock
I own two.... one is in Military Police trip...flashing red light, rear wheel driven siren. That " light " isn't to look into the ammo box on the left fork.. it's a " black out " light... the light is covered and beamed down... the idea to prevent the bad guys from seeing you from afar or above. The loop on the right side fork..is for a rifle scabbard... usually a Thompson 45 sub machine gun. Harley reportedly built 90000... for the US Military, Canada and others. Approx 30000 were sent to Russia. All Harleys built during the war are " 1942's "... Harley kept the engine case number WLA 42 followed with the engine number. The models during the production were listed as Type 1-Type 7.... depending on what was added to and the placement of attachments during the war. Mine is a Type 3. They are reliable and ride nicely at 50-55 mph. Once you master the starting procedure it's second nature.. as is the hand tank shift and foot clutch. Fun bike to ride. :)
My dad bought this exact bike from my friend for $50 and totally restored it. I wish I still had it😢 My brother sold it when we were teenagers
Any links on where I can find the Mikuni carb specs you used? Thank you in advance. I have a 1980 can am 350 Qualifier.
