In 1970 I had a flight sgt, ( I was 17) permanent ciggie in his mouth, never stopped talking about his time stationed at SLEAP, for ages I thought he was talking about an overseas base such as Germany, didnt know untill long time after it was in the UK, great vid to show me where it actually is lol, thank you. from my interaction with the Flt Sgt would love to know more of the History from anyone envolved with the base.

Just found the channel and subed, nice Arial Photography over my home town of Port Talbot, its a shame that the Airport is like it is today with all its history over the years, lots of nimbys buying houses then complaining about the aircraft noise, just doesnt make sence. looking forward to watching other vids on the channel.

Excellent flight with breathtaking views on the coastal approach. Was a pleasure to visit Brighton City Airport; especially with it being one the world’s oldest commercial airports, still featuring the original Art Deco designs. The live runway camera stream is also a really nice touch. Excellently produced video as always - absolute pleasure to watch 👌

Did you wear life jackets during the flight? I wouldn't like to have to ditch a high-wing aircraft in the sea if the engine failed!

Fantastic video, great views, both Oxford and Coventy look nice. Coventry used to be used by commercial airlines not long ago.

Some stunning views between Oxford & Coventry - so enjoyable to watch. Both airports had excellent facilities and were well maintained; very much worth the visit. Great conversations with ATC and the landing at Coventry 👌👌👌 Superb!

Say! Is it OK to ask if anyone knows of Tim Luffingham from 1982 ? ! I hope he remained well, and if so is in happy retirement. I took only 5 flying lessons in total in 1982, 83 and 85. Two out of Weston and three in a C152 out of Dublin Airport's FBO westside, the name then escapes me for the moment. Tim was my instructor out of Weston in a Rallye 100? Man that place has changed. A 65 year old here in London dreaming of what might have been (sob) Very nice video. Reliable old birds.

Ace orbit around Blackpool Town with stunning views of the Lake District. Carlisle airport was superb with excellent facilities and very accommodating staff - would definitely return. Fab flight and video as always 👌

Very nice scenery over the Lakes, not too sure about Blackpool ! Don't think I've ever heard wind direction given as a compass point rather than a bearing; I'd never work it out while landing.

That bit with Blackpool Tower and Lake District looks impressive. Great flying!

I love Blackpool it is an amazing adventure and the amusement park is astonishing!

I liked the descriptions of where you were flying over. That was very good and made it even more interesting.

And I thought grass and hard runways were not available for simultaneous landing or take-off !!

Is it a good idea to fly so much over water? If the single engine fails, you have to get over land and then find a field to land in.

The views are great, but really, who the hell would fly from Perth to goddamn Dundee? What's wrong with a 20-minute train ride?

Landing uphill? Well, helps slow down if nothing else 🙂

Which camera do you use? I’m looking to buy one for my flight training. Any overheating problems?

Fantastic views of Liverpool showing very iconic buildings from a completely different perspective. Great that ATC allowed transit through the restricted airspace, to allow for this superb flight and video! Talk about a smooth landing at Blackpool… very impressive 👌

Excellent flight with stunning weather. Ace views from the 360 camera during the takeoff at Coventry 👌 Coventry is an excellently maintained airfield too, a pleasure to visit.

Noticed the fly hitching a lift when on final to rwy21.

What is your cruise speed? I'm hoping to be down at the airfield this next weekend, it would be good to get those shots of you in the air. In mine I'm limited to 100knts ish and tend to cruise at around 85, I take it thats minimums in the blue beasty
