Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 bowl sesame seeds (til)
Jaggery (same quantity as sesame seeds)
Instructions:
Roast Sesame Seeds:
Dry roast 1 bowl of sesame seeds on low flame. Keep stirring gently to avoid burning. 🔥
Once roasted, let them cool down.
Grind the Seeds:
In a mixer, grind the cooled sesame seeds coarsely.
Add Jaggery:
In the same mixer, add jaggery (same bowl measurement as sesame seeds).
Grind until sesame seeds and jaggery are well mixed, but don’t overdo it. Overgrinding might melt jaggery and become too sticky.
Form the Laddus:
Using your hands, form small round laddus (undalu) with the mixture.
The sesame oil will naturally ooze out, making it easier to shape the laddus.
Offer to Maa Siddhidatri:
Present these laddus as a humble offering to Maa Siddhidatri on this auspicious day.
