Locked in a state of endless bliss, whilst unknowingly your body is placed in a perpetual stasis has got to be one of the tropes of all time, truly horrific. Beautiful mod, regardless.

An absolutely gorgeous region, with an even more gorgeous detailing. Kudos to the Preservatory team and Fishnoid too!

One thing I really like about the surv/monk/gourm ending is the fact that it plays a song that sounds like a combo of the Slugtree ending song (It's just called Outro theme iirc?) and Pictures of the past

SPOILERS: Y’know, the worst bit about all this is that this mod probably has what could easily be considered the best Artificer ending. Not consumed by genocidal rage, and not eternally stuck between planes of reality forced to watch the heat death of the universe, but in stasis with the dream of their pups, for however long it takes for the technology to fall into ruin and decay. THIS is the only way they gets peace, and wow! It still sucks!

I have mixed feelings too, god damm Okay yeah, the Hunter one sold me on it, I do not think this is a 'better' ascension method, especially since the slugcat is still kept alive in that state, maybe not as bad as an echo where they're stuck in the skies forever looking down at their favourite place change over time before their own eyes with them being unable to do anything about it. The idea of just keeping a creature alive against their own will to me is very.. yeah.. That aside this mod and the concept is really cool! I cannot imagine the time it took to make all of this

So glad I dropped by to check out this mod (even tho I haven't thought of mod of the year and only messed around with cosmetic mods). The Hunter ending has to be the most depressing one yet! Putting dead monster kelp with living ones is also fucking devious!!

I watched a showcase of this and was blown away by that final tree area as survivor. Then, I watched this and realized that there were endings for most other slugcats. best mod of the year, handsdown!

My idea is that their ending is still not ready, taking into account that the spear master and the rivel will have an iterator or more than one and the saint is something even crazier.

They really popped off with this region. The lore fits almsot perfectly with canon, the design and atmosphere is extremely reminiscent of vanilla rain world, and the endings are exactly as bittersweet as the vanilla endings. And thats just the tip of the iceberg... So much to praise here :)

What the heck? That slugcat looks almost like my oc!! Except mine has red scutes, blue eyes, and two prongs on the end of the tail.
