I visited the area and I liked the fernan lake area, I went fishing and had my night vision goggle with me, it was super nice at night, if I remember correctly that road leads into the mountain and it looks like overland and 4 wheel vehicles head up the road once it’s snowed out.

When I first got here I listened to and tried to pronounce the town names correctly. Which I did but my WNC accent gave me away. Try to pronounce the names of some of our North Carolina cities. I dare ya😂.

I just had a native tell me that I pronounced FerNAN incorrectly and it should be Fernen. I walked away and found this video for my own reassurance. Thank You 😂

They don't have housing for the people that live there there isn't enough jobs minimum wage is 7.25 an hour the health care is terrible if you plan on bringing your kids remember they like to use the n-word quite frequently in school settings. If your child is not 18 years old they can't go into the library . My grandmother help name the first 15th streets of Coeur d'Alene Idaho. They don't take care of their people the healthcare is trash they have the lowest educational rating in the country. It is a beautiful place to live if you've got the money and you don't mind the racism.

Great information on the waterfront homes when you were driving on Atlas Road by Doma coffee shop I noticed a couple huge townhomes already are up for sale, on Atlas Road Is that because across the street they’re staring at the windows and living rooms of the massive apartment complex surrounding that area?? my wife and I were looking at those $3 million townhomes you were talking about for my daughter and her husband who live in London, but what concerned us was on the backside and all around that beautiful area is a massive apartment complex being built and people must notice, we explain this to my daughter and her husband and they felt it wasn’t worth spending three to $5 million knowing that there’s so many apartments with so many people living around there and no privacy looking out their windows into the apartments and just all those people that live in the apartments walking around for safety reasons too even though they’re high end, how do you guys feel about that?

Seltice is "sell-tee-ss", Mullan is "muhl-in". I've heard those road names butchered a few times. :) We also refer to the freeway as "Eye-90", and highways are just the number, or sometimes "highway 53" if feeling verbose. Anyone have an opinion on Neider? I've heard it pronounced a few different ways. lol

Idaho born, Post Falls raised, have always called it "Qwemlin," though city council website does list the other pronunciation. I think we've all agreed to disagree.
