Hell's Revenge | Samurais Gone Wild on Moab’s Most Popular Trail
Hell’s Revenge, Moab Utah 📍
This has got to be one of the most famous off-road trails in the world, for sure in Moab? I don't know, but in our books it was crazy epic. We were all the most excited to check out Hell’s Revenge when were first planning our trip to Moab so this was a big day for all of us.
First impression? The tire grip on the slickrock of Moab is crazyyy good - unlink anything we’ve driven on before (aside from asphalt). The super good tire grip for sure aided in some confidence building early on in the trail. Hell’s Revenge is honestly a pretty chill trail for the most part covering some of Moab’s most scenic geography, some crazy lookouts and insanely beautiful views. As long as you have decent tires and good line choice you should be able to complete Hell’s Revenge in just about any stock 4x4 vehicle (probably some 2wds but not ideal).
Where this trail really gets interesting is at its famous obstacles and option lines such as Hell’s Gate, The Escalator, and the Devil’s Hot Tub. Hell’s Revenge?.... Just watch the video. It’s a mental thing but we found ourselves in an interesting spot for sure! Jonathan in his Samurai handled The Escalator with minor drama and while none of us drove into the Hot Tub, it was a pretty cool spot to check out after seeing so many videos of it online. Our timing worked out pretty good this day and we met the ‘Moab Cowboy’ himself - it was cool to hear some extra stories about this place from a local.
Hell’s Revenge - can’t recommend this one enough!

Reincarnated: A Suzuki Samurai Story | Part 1

Part 2 coming early 2025. A true story about a few dudes and the little car that could! Back in 2015 we took this Samurai out with the intent of making a 'cool video' of it bashing thru the local desert. While headed to the gas station, a friend of the owner got a little too sideways, caught edge, and ultimately took the Samurai for a little tumble. With all hope nearly lost, the Suzuki Samurai...
3 Link Suzuki Samurai Builds Off-Roading
มุมมอง 1.8K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
From the archive! 10 years ago we were having just as much fun with Suzuki Samurais as we do today. These two cars were built by my brother and his friend, both of which featured custom three link suspension set ups in the front, rear YJ spring under axle set ups in the rear, and some mild tube work to hold everything together. Unfortunately, this spot has been shut down in recent years, but it...

Nice job with the video 👍👍
Thanks for watching 🙏
Tie Dye for the win!
Where can I get spare parts for Suzuki samurai
Supah fun looking…
Great content, thanks!
Yeah that was a little sketchy huh!? I love the new video filming/editing style dude. Makes me want to get out more and play. 🤘😎
That was awesome! can't wait for Moab 2025
Makes me want to get the Epic Trek SPOA lift.
Im sure the apring over with better tiers would work way better for wheeling. Same ride though I hear.
Love this
What roof rack is that? Nice Sami
Daylan is running the Yakima racks with the road warrior cargo basket w the middle extension to make basket longer - all of which is from Yakima's website 👍
Love the build! Great video dude🤙🏻
thanks for watching! Looking forward to linking up at some point in the future!
@@samuraiszn hell yeah for sure we need to make that happen! Are you going to be at trail hero?
Holy cow that freaked out my mind lol
hello bro, have you grown tired of the g16b? if you had the chance, would you skip this and maybe get a more powerful unit or would you do the same again? I'm looking to swap and get a 16v or a m13a or a k20 but I am not sure on what to do
What up! I have not grown tired of it and I would do it again but it really just depends what you are after... The G16B feels like the motor that should have came in these cars, it is a fairly straight forward swap, and it allows you to stay up with traffic a lot better but it really isn't fast. I would call it OEM +, a nice factory style upgrade but still feels and drives like a suzuki and you still retain alot of your original parts. If you want to go fast, do burnouts and rip, go with a K20 or something with a little more than a G16B. I am sure it would feel like a different car if you did and if that is what you are after. There are other swaps and hybrid-style modifications you can do with suzuki stuff, but it all gets a little tricky. If you have more questions feel free to message me on Instagram @samurai.szn
@@samuraisznthanks friend! That's exactly the answer I was looking for, followed on ig too btw, will PM if further questions rise, thanks again
I’ve got an 87 samurai on 35s Toyota axles 2.3L. I want to go in 2025 👍👍 if yall can set it up before Zukicon I can do the 2 birds one stone thing being I’m coming from Mississippi. Bucket list stuff
Same, less likely to tip. I'm out in the pacific northwest, so we have our own crazy terrain.
Missing a lug nut on that back wheel.
they give you a 5 lug so that if you loose 1 or 2 you still have a few spares 😅
Good music
SO EPIC! Love seeing your rigs out there getting it done!
Thank you my friend! It was a great experience
That would be a ton of fun
Cool video, thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Do you still have stock gearing on your Samurai? Ordering this kit and plan to run 30" tires. Thanks and Aloha from Kauai!
hello friend! At the time of this video yes I had stock gearing, although I have the 1.6L sidekick motor installed.. I have since installed the 4.16:1 transfer case gears which did reduce the gearing a little bit but not much. I think with 30s and stock gearing you should be totally fine, even on a stock 1.3L motor. I should be on Kauai in November, let me know if you need a hand!
Great video and great times, congrats.
Thank you 🙏
@@samuraiszn Keed them coming!
Great video . Wish one day I will be able to wheel in USA and Australia
Hope you make it out this way! Let us know if you do
Loved seeing how the lightly modded and highly modded rigs did! Definitely on my list to do
Highly recommend! Super fun place, there are definitely places to get crazy and send it in bigger rigs, but the samurais on 31s were able to clear everything we put them up against and most of the major obstacles
Looks like you guys had an incredible time. How fun. Are you guys going to make it to Trail heroes?
It was epic! Should we go to Trail Heroes..? 👀

Thanks for watching!
woah awesome video man, great editing, nice shots, hell of a vibe Thank you sir!
Thanks for checking it out! Glad you liked it 🙌🏼
Love the car, but can't get past his ears tucked into his hat
Loved it!! I built a Military grade Maruti Suzuki Gypsy in India and absolutely it's one of the best decisions of my life!!
Awesome! Anywhere we can see some photos of it?
Awesome rig ya got there. I got the same set up and year. Question, why so much air in tires tho? I drop down to 8-10psi when crawling. Just curious. Very nice setup and rig
Thanks for watching! I forget what number we dropped to this day, was maybe like 14psi. We were only out for a little bit so didn’t want to take too much out. 8-10psi is usually a good place to be with these little rigs 👍🏽
33" SuperSwamper for the win 😅 sick Sami 🤙
Hello, do you have the quick release part number by any chance?
Greetings from Pontassieve, province of Florence, Italy. I have a Suzuki Jimmy 4x4 with a 1.3 LT m13a petrol engine from 2001, all original, which I use to go to the field, forest and mountain along agricultural and forestry paths.
I wonder if I could fit a 2.4l in one
Only one way to find out!
@@samuraiszn indeed
Is that a petrol engine or diesel?
petrol!
Yessah D 🤙🏾. Living the dream 🤙🏾 Blessah.
Great video n setup . So you have disconnected the front sway bar completely? How about highway high-speed driving. Doesn't the car sway too much ? My LWB zuk is my daily drive , so wondering if I should go with this setup + install a detachable sway bar setup in front that can be easily disconnected when offroading.
Great question! If I am only driving on the street I do leave the drop-out shackle piece bolted up as you can see towards the end of the video. If you could install a detachable front sway bar that would probably be nice, to be honest I have never really felt the need for one on any of my cars that I drive on the dirt and street. With this setup you would also need to do something custom about the sway bar, I am pretty sure the new shackles would get in the way.
I met Daylan on IG too and he’s been super cool. We both had epic treks at one point and we’ve both given each other great advice. Awesome video as well! Hope you come to Guam next 🇬🇺 We got some killer samurai’s here too 🤙🏽
100% he is a super solid dude and it was super nice of him to offer to take me for a cruise! Absolutely, I'll follow up with you on instagram!
Cuz, what kine energy drink you sapping on? ; )
he told me it was "Maui Gatorade"
Are you still running those Auxbeams? I'm looking to add them to my Outback.
hey sorry for the delayed response! I actually removed these VMAX 4" lights and went back to Auxbeam's standard 3" pod lights. I added 4 of those to the front bumper, 2 are amber lenses, 2 are clear lenses, and I really like that setup! Reason for pulling these off was they were just a little too big for the space where I had them mounted and I didn't really like the way the I had the power, DRL wired, etc. Nothing against the lights tho they worked great and the 3" lights have been holding up perfect after plenty of abuse and weather.
Hoa! I know that guy! Crazy seeing Dylan on here that Zuki is sick fo real
Any idea if the boss adapter is the same part number across samurais and sidekicks?
I looked on their website again and it says "compatible with 86-92: Suzuki Samurai & 99-04: Chevy Geo Tracker." I know some people run Sidekick steering wheels on Samurais so I would *think* it would work no problem, but since I have not done that yet I can't say for sure that it will
I miss my. 86 samurai, sold it back in 96
Never too late to reinvest 🫡
Hoi Rambla !
Aloha From Kauai !
Aloha Roger, thanks for watching 🤙🏻
