the best mini series of my lifetime. (c. 1959)
...The cost of lies
This chorus is the soul of humanity
Man doesn't deserve the technology.

സത്യം പറഞ്ഞിതിനു ഉള്ള ശിക്ഷ പാവം ലേഖസൊവ് 😪😪😪😪🙏🏻
Everyone from Russia and Ukraine says this is just the biggest BS ever made. Hopefully, the real story will come out one day.
Go touch grass, if you're even real. 🤪
We’re in the first 5 minutes of the real story. That was the trailer.
i remember wat6ching this 2019 religiously.
I always found Chernobyl interesting, as it was my grandfather' and his family's home town. They left around the time of the Russian Revolution. The framing town of Chetnobyl was about 10 miles south of the reactor.
I still watch this occasionally, as it's one of the best miniseries ever done. It's hard to believe that Craig Main, the creator of the Jackass series built this, but he did. And it's unbelievably beautiful and painful. There is also an excellent podcast, hosted by Peter Sagal that interviews Craig episode by episode. He explains the details, the reasons for artistic license, and the meaning behind every episode.
Skaarsgard nails monologues non stop. Wow. Whoever made this, thank you. This hits hard.
Happy you enjoyed it🙂
@@jeremybrett1933 you made me tear up at the end...
@@yvc9 I definitely had some deep feelings while making it
The story is fake
@@drackkor725 thats a weird comment
Indeed, let us not forget. Russia is a great nation when its rule measures up to his people
The Russians in this movie all talk and act like bad Vito Corleone impersonations. Talking in hoarse mumbles, and scowling all the time.
Superb European - mostly British - actors enunciating clearly in English. They are playing the key roles, which are Russian.
Update (8/23/24) the last train out of (the old NPN) station as seen on this video was last night. The station is now owned by Csx. It is an end of an area.
What's the time mark?
Brilliant soundtrack for a great series
REPECT IS EARNED... NOT GIVEN. WE NEED SOME MEN to go into the basement and find the valve to open so that the water collected in the basement can be drained out so if... when the hot mess breaks thru the floor of the containment... it doesn't vaporize the water and cause a catastrophic... more catastrophic steam EXPLOSION. of course the radiation in that area is off the charts so... we need some MEN to go under the reactor and dig dig dig so that we can pump cooling nitrogen under the reactor so it (might) not burn thru the bottom of the whole thing , burn thru the soil and hit the ground water and cause a even worse steam explosion that will poison the ground water... continent of ... half of europe?
I have been interested in the Chernobyl story for years, I don't know exactly why a guy from Canada became interested in the tragedy, but I was, and still am. When I saw the HBO series being made I got it on DVD and ... for a 4 part series it is a journey of tragedy, heartbreak, human error so much wasted life.. I for one will NEVER forget those who died from this tragedy and those who caused it. This edit is a masterpiece of haunting tragedy.
This was so Russian that I could taste the vodka.
Wonderful.
Super montage of visuals to the music ! I'm not sure I recall the footage of the dying man at 2:49 ...was it not in the original transmission ...or have I just forgotten it ? Fascinating and powerful series, the State Lackeys were infuriating ! I visited there in 2011, before the gigantic Shelter Object was put into place .....
I'm glad you liked it! Yes it's from the original series
It was there alright
Memory eternal!
This is an excellent montage of an excellent series.
@@Knightboat99 Thank you!
So many lives wasted. So much courage. So much suffering. So much death. Let us never forget.
haha people never learn
Those firefighters had no idea what they were dealing with. The URSS didn't train anyone of them against those kind of situations. It was like sending a soldier with his rifle, to a nuclear war combat.
That communisam 😡
Worse snap death versus long lingering! Slow! Demise!
No one really knew anything, and those who should’ve known kept lying and denying… that’s how eventually a Superpower of the World is destroyed: LIES.
Most professional firefighters, even today, don’t receive cbrn training. Usually you find dedicated crews at a facility or within the federal government.
nice. Good choice of song. Like the "That was nothing" motion at the end. :)
love this song
