    What is the best way to approach the negotiation with a client regarding a 20 hour monthly bug fix subscription? Clients might argue against this by stating that "you built software with bugs in it, so you should just fix it for free". My own question can perhaps be answered by taking your house analogy and looking at house maintenance. Home maintenance costs are an ongoing expense, and your contractor is not required to maintain your home for free forever. In most cases, contractors resolve issues(snags) within a finite amount of time (for software that is, fixing bugs within the timeframe of the shaped work), and after that it's pretty much the owner's responsibility to cover house maintenance (for software that is to pay for ongoing project maintenance).

Shaping it before start doing improve our comprehension and speed up our delivery. Also we bring risk section to our team and also deal with client expectation. Google drive is pretty smart. It essentially pulls down the files you need in the moment. After you don’t use them it removes those files from Cache. We have about 20 to 25 TB of data, I know one terabyte Mac mini.

    Can I store my ecommerce vendor product images to Google drive? Is there any data transfer cost involved for the images stored in Google drive? I mean let say 10k images access every hour, so data consumption for Google will be huge for the account. Do they charge for data consumption as well for access?

    thank you for this video! I'm curious if employees use file stream will they then have hard copies that are editable on their computers that can be uploaded again to the drive, or is this only available to use for the admin? Is it possible to set up the folders so employees and/or contractors can have access to the folder to contribute, but not download, and is there anyway to ensure after they leave the company that they do not have access to the folders or the content?

    • @bruce.vanzyl
      @bruce.vanzyl 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Employees can use filestream same as admins. It's actually been renamed to "Google Drive" if you're searching for it. It only downloads the files it sees are necessary so if you go to open a document it will download and then open... after saving it will upload back to the cloud and remove the local copy.

    • @bruce.vanzyl
      @bruce.vanzyl 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey. I'm not actually sure of a quick way to transfer from one to the other. There is a way to setup a shared drive and invite users access to that from the other google accounts. You could drag and drop files from a My Drive to a Shared Drive potentially. The only way I have done this in the past is to download all files to my computer and then upload to new shared drive.

    Hi Bruce, thanks for the checklist! Quick Q on the expenses for creating the funnels for ourselves and clients.. how would one go about charging for the softwares (active campaign, click funnels, etc) for your clients? Is this something separate from your retainer fee you simply pass along? Or have them purchase them before you setup funnels? Thanks again!

    • @bruce.vanzyl
      @bruce.vanzyl 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Evan, great question.... We always ask clients to purchase their OWN clickfunnels account / Active campaign / etc. You'll want to grab your affiliate link and share that with clients... We do this by setting up a redirect at www.inovo.io/clickfunnels which redirects to affiliate link. This is 100% best way to do it. You can build the funnel in your own account and then use the share feature to "transfer" to your client's account. Especially if the funnel accepts payments, then you want it to be in their own account / own stripe.

    Hi Bruce, thanks for the upload! I was wondering why it’s beneficial to use Google drive file stream instead of working through browser? I downloaded that app and found my computer acting slower and drive experienced connectivity issues, so I removed it from my Mac. I would like to have the same workflow as you as it makes total sense - especially for client management purposes.

    • @bruce.vanzyl
      @bruce.vanzyl 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Evan! Thanks for the comment. Yea, I typically use the File Stream app on my computer about 75% of the time and then the browser the other 25%. Certain functions perform better on your computer, some are better on the browser. I'm not sure about the slowness, but it can take a while for your computer to "index" the files but after that it should be minimal CPU usage.
