I did a circuit of Arizona in a drop top Mustang. 11 day holiday, my fav state 💜🇬🇧 Actually stopped one day to look for rattle snakes and scorpions 😂

We left my Sister at a Gas Station for more than an hour on Route 66 in 1967. 6 kids Mom and Dad in a brand new Chevy Station Wagon. It might be that one there.

I saw 2 vent lines near the corner of the building. Are the tanks still in the ground? I do regulator compliance for underground storage tanks in my state. I always wonder about tanks at old gas stations when I'm out driving through this great nation of ours.

Big Deal i live on Route 15

Back in the mid-50's we would visit my grandfather's gas station/country store off route 66 just outside of Shamrock Tx. It had two Mobile gas pumps. The front of the store had a bench on either side of the entrance, one with a Dr. Pepper logo and the other an unfiltered Camel cigarette logo. Inside had the usual stuff for back then, and the house was attached to the back of the store. There was a small outbuilding serving as rural postal service, and there was a barn in the back. God I loved visiting there. Enjoy your slice of heaven!

Watched a video yesterday of you showing folks around town and subscribed. I live about 30 miles from the birthplace of Rt 66, Springfield Mo. Lived in Ft Huachuca AZ for awhile near Sierra Vista.
