Assassin's Creed Parkour Used To Be Amazing ...
I’ve never played Rogue before, mainly due to the bad stuff I hear about it, but after watching this, I kinda want to try it out. I’m a sucker for parkour in AC. Great run! Well done!
the footing sound design was snappy too!
Nice stuff, your content is very relaxing. Ever thought of trying AC3/4 Parkour videos?
Thank you so much, you're an important part of my channel and you help motivate me to keep making videos! I will definitely pick up AC4 soon (feels weird saying that as I already own the Xbox 360 and PS4 versions xD), although my laptop is slowly running out of space lol. When I eventually pick up AC3 as well, it will probably be the original version as my low spec laptop will probably melt if I try running the remastered version ... 😂 I also have a many more parkour videos planned for AC Rogue - I haven't even touched the River Valley yet 😅. Having said that, I will try to mix up the uploads so it's not just one specific game for 10 consecutive videos (GUILTY AS CHARGED ahah)
@ No problem, i enjoy these videos regardless
Though I Love Shay Cormac as Character I really think that Rogue should have been Haytham’s Game. Depicting him growing up and then coming to America found a Templar Rite there and wiping out Achilles Brotherhood. The Game should culminate with Haytham killing Birch in London, instating Jenny as Grandmistress of the British Rite, paying his respects to Edward’s Grave and explaining how he feels about the Assassin and Templar War and why he still sides with the Templars
Which is pretty Ironic given how torn emotionally and mentally Shay was throughout the Game. The guilt he felt for Lissabon and how it ripped him apart on the inside when he killed his brethren
i just finished it for the first time and i’m actually mad at how short the game is lol
My first AC game. It really did something to help create a nostalgic atmosphere, while getting a unique introduction to the series.
Parkour has never been the reason Rogue is looked down upon
So its basically assassins creed 3 movement with slightly faster animations?
I loved Rogue myself, and to me it was "Black Flag but better" because I absolutely loved the unusual setting, with all that snow and ice and northern lights, and Shay was a underbaked af but still a badass character - but yeah, it still felt more like a solid Black Flag add-on (not exactly a DLC, but more like those huge old time add-ons) Would've loved to see what Rogue could've been if maybe given another year of development - with better written story quests, polishing and more overall personality
so clean gg keep going!!!!<3333
Rogue is good, but is more like a Black Flag DLC than a stand alone game
i personnaly prefer rogue, i know its not normal but i realy do
Compare the budgets too and you'll see why
One more reason why Unity should've been released later
North Atlantic is top 5 AC maps for me. Nothing but vibes
Yes, tranquility can be achieved when the game is effectively playing itself.
i guess that is a fair point
And the BGM is so horror
I just finished it an I genuinely hate Shay so much, this might be based
I remember jumping off a cliff like that and there was a fence beneath me with the river separating the two. As I was about to land, I kept holding down the defend button and I somehow slide underneath the fence and I had no idea I could do that. I don’t remember the location but it doesn’t really matter…. Cuz I couldn’t do it again.
Underrated hidden gems. Shay is in my top 5 favorite characters in this franchise
super,,
My name is Shay Patrick Cormac, this is my story

It really did feel like the most tranquil game in the series. There’s an insane level of charm to it that is only rivaled by 2 and Brotherhood before the engine switch happened… Rogue just ups the visual appeal and maintains that strange yet welcome familiarity that you develop with each region you visit. Truly a great AC game.
Well done “Shao Kong voice”
2nd best AC after Black flag
Nice stuff
@@UserNot_Known Thanks ❤️
I just finished replaying twice and hundred percenting the game. Still takes me about 6 to 7 tries to kill the storm fortress with a fully upgraded Morrigan. It's gonna be a while before I replay it a third time because that storm fortress is just something else
I missed it when it came out, just to play it last year and consider it one of the best AC games. I've bounced from Unity several times, but Rogue got me hooked that i finished it in few days. Thanks for uploading!
It's been a long day since I play this game but i still love it
This game showed me that perspective is the thing that matters
Maybe the other games did that...
The Templars vs Assassins perspective was almost perfectly portrayed in AC 3 through Conner and Haytham. Ac Rogue feels more like the traditional roles of Templars and Assassins just switched places.
I Play and re-play since I was 11
True story. I love this part because it combines the best of Black Flag, the third part and the Ezio trilogy. I am Russian and the nature of North America is native and understandable to me, it does not hurt the eyes as much as the Caribbean. Plus this game is not so demanding on the system and is played more smoothly than the 4th part. Old acquaintances, an interesting story and wonderful naval battles with improved mechanics from Black Flag.
А ещё, в этой части есть милые бескрылые гагарки.

The background music in this game is so amazing. It really takes you there. It was my first AC game that made me fall in love with the franchise.
Imagine this being your first ac game 😂🤡🤡💀💀💀💀
It's a good game. But it was clearly rushed, and was made on a minuscule budget. If only it was treated as a proper entry
I love this game ❤️🔥
It's not mentioned enough how smoother the running and climbing is compared to Black Flag, and how the map is much more well designed for parkour compared to AC3
I make my own luck- Shay Patrick Cormac
Pretty good choreo, all things considered. That being said, I couldn't help but notice how sparse the world looks in terms of parkour pathways and objects.
Cool
Miss I wanna marry you! Im talking to you uploader. 😍
Also, the fact that Ezio doesn’t breathe like he’s run a marathon after a light twist😂
m.th-cam.com/video/6-WyHuyBC7Y/w-d-xo.html
Never knew this was gonna happen to me...
i am sorry, but ezio's outift is so ugly.
my best memory of this game is riding on horse in those open parts of map and the bgm was always supreme
Ubisoft: Basim is so fast that the animus can't catch up with his movements. meanwhile ezio in brotherhood: 0:14
That soundtrack tho🥹
Did you read Wolf Brother in School, too? Just asking cause of your Channel's Name. (Fun Video by the way).
Yes, I did 😊 I don't think I've ever encountered another person who read Wolf Brother before!
@@talltailless3338 Yep. I read it when I was a Teenager.
The best episodes of the saga, hands down. Ezio will always be the best character of AC (at least, for me). But come on. I can still remember the various fails of the leap of faith. Straight to the ground. Unity is the peak of parkour system. In Unity, I feel myself in total control. Arno does exactly what I want. He goes exactly where I want. He climbs exactly where I want. Never happened something like: "What? No, not in that direction!". It's not only about the perfection of the animations.
You are delusional Let me give you guys a taste of your own medicine of 'nostalgia argument' : "yours is just a case of recency bias"
@@btchiaintkidding7837 no, it isn't. I play AC2 every year and when I switch from it to Unity... Oh man, I can feel the difference.
1:21 Ezio just casually murdering that woman with the lift is the best part
One thing I’ve realized about assassins creed 1 through brotherhood is that there’s such a huge focus on responsive animations and inputs. Modern traversal controls have been so streamlined that it made me forget just how precise these games were with their inputs. Great games. I love AC 1 through brotherhood. I have yet to play revelations…
