Such a good doggie. My advice as a fellow chihuahua mom: if your babydog is shivering, feel the ear flaps and feet. If s/he is cold, the ear flaps and feet will generally also be cold. People think that chihuahuas tremble constantly because of nervousness, but usually the real problem is that they get cold super easily. My babydog is a blanket loving little troll, and she knows that the blankets on the couch are for her.

I Love Chihuahuas . That is Healthy Chihuahuas ! If u want a 2 pound animal , get a Ferret ! Or a medium parrot ok ? I'll be looking for a 4.5 to 6 pound Chihuahua . I think this Breed's Standards Need to be Seriously Rewrote ! I think Show Chihuahuas should have to be at least 4. 5 , 4.75 to 6 pounds ! Anything less than that should be disqualified . I really hope it happens one day too ! Even at 6 pounds they are still the smallest ever tiny Dogs !

Tips on convincing my parents to get a chihuahua even tho they’re cat persons?💋

I have found that for a first collar for a chihuahua puppy, kitten collars work really well. The sizing is perfect for the tiniest of tiny puppies, it’s adjustable, and usually has a stretchy bit so that the kitty it’s meant for won’t get caught in anything. The little stretchy bit is great for a fast growing puppy. After the doggie grows a bit more, regular dog collars are fine, as the smallest sizes will work. It’s just the tiny baby stage where kitten collars work better.

There's a reason why blue is not allowed to breed. There's a high risk to deceases due to the mutated genes. Hope yours will stay healthy.
