Windbreak / FPV Mountain Surfing
7" Mountain Surfing shots in the Slovenian Alps from last weekend.
Weather was mostly shit, bunch of wind and rain in high altitude but I still managed to bring back cool footage, I think the menacing weather gives it a nice atmosphere !
One of the spots was particularly windy, we're talking about some 80+km/h gusts and you can clearly see the quad wiggling a little from it - quite impressive how little it does compared to how strong it was from the ground tho.

Nostab cuz we ain't pussies. First time flying Long Range with the DJI Action 2. I feel like it's the prefect cam for this use case, ultrawide fov looks amazing for mountain surfing and being able to transfer data to an sd card quickly between packs is a really nice feature when you can loose your quad anytime. It doesn't support Gyroflow so far, so it's definitely more of an hardcore mountain ...

Non, mais ça vaut le coup de vérifier la zone de vol avant de décoller c’est certain. Les head tracker existent depuis des années, la limite vient surtout de la transmission vidéo à l’heure actuelle
bonjour alex j'ai beaucoup aimé cette vidéo il y a juste un petit petit problème et c'est que je ne parle pas vraiment français et j'apprécierais que tu fasses toutes tes nouvelles vidéos en croate (pas en français) car le croate est une bien meilleure langue comme en croate, tu peux dire quelque chose comme "jebote led" (se traduit par un glaçon qui t'a baisé) tandis qu'en français, le mieux que tu as, c'est ok, va déterrer ta grand-mère

@@platyfpv Thanks, yeah my tolerance for hikes has waned lately. Yeah I guess slower recce flights do most of the work in avoiding silly crashes.

Thanks dude ! There’s definitely no standard rates depending on flight spots imo. it all comes down to how you like and feel it, your fingers position, gimballs size, use of expo etc. Mines are at 800deg/s on every single of my quads from 1s tinywhoop to 7" long range - that way muscle memory stays the same !

@@neilfpv smaller radios like the Radiomaster Zorro have smaller gimbals than the TX16S for example, with smaller stick movements you might wanna ajust your rates to something that suits it better with more expo, I threw that example randomly but it’s one of the many factors that makes your rates uniques depending on how you like them

Wide FOV and Low Shutter speed are kinda the secret sauce to this sense of speed, but yeah the main ingredient is definitely to fly fast and low - that’s why I like to display the raw DVR too, can’t fake this lol.
