If I put the v8 running gear in this the budget would of stretched out another 20-30 K I’m only into this for 31k and it’s on the road.

People say that all the time. I guess it’s my fear of gaps when I worked on smashed BMW’s & Mercedes for 12 years in my career. The manager came out with fealer gauges to check every gap on your job. If it wasn’t even you’d have to re do.

Dressing up a 2002 long wheel base high roof Sprinter campervan so it can be registered. Like yours, a bit of rust in her. Not as many of em for parts here, so some bits have come from the UK, Poland, even Lithuanian.

@@nongbloke You might have to buy a big piece of sheet metal & get a wooden hammer & shape & bend & few patch repairs

@@rrusty71Yep, been doing exactly that for some of the smaller patches, but for the larger more complex sections, if you can get pressed panel pieces it’s a better finished job.

My painter said to me before he painted it that he wanted to glass it. I guess it does look flat and glassy I still need to cut it back and polish it one day soon
