Thank you for posting this recording. Like all I am not worthy of saying I pray properly. It’s easy for this man to tell us and he’s right. But in situations such as while at lunch at my job, can I sit down on the parking curb and pray outside? Is it wrong to pray outside? Is prayer while driving acceptable? What should I do when thoughts of anything distract me in prayer? Are we to start over and try again?

🍓 I need to see the Bible verses to confirm to me that it is God's purpose to wake me up in the middle of the night. If the Bible did not say anything about it, I would not associate my constant waking up in the middle of the night with God's purpose.

Just last night, I prayed, asking God to help me to read his word and pray more. I find myself on social media more than in his word or even praying. So last night I called myself out about it. This morning, when I woke up, I picked up my phone, and there it was, my answer, my help. As far as I am concerned, it was a direct response from God himself. "Do this before you pray." I listen to this video, and I must say my heart is overwhelmed. Oh, how He loves me to come and see about little old me. That's my testimony. Now my prayer request is, now that I have instructions, I will be obedient to God's will for me to become proficient in prayer and to give more attention to God and His word than that of the world and worldly things ie, socialmedia. Lord, be my help.🙏🏾

Was C.J Lewis an Apostolic Pentecostal Oneness believer or was he a trinitarian?

That was the most comprehensive explanation of how to pray in the spirit. I have read it in the bible, heard people say," when I prayed in the spirit...", but never have I been taught what it means and how to do it. Thank you so much for this revelation. Thank you, Lord God, for answering my prayer.

I love these true and holy moments you talk about when the Spirit aligns with God and one receives the blessed assurance. Every day my sins are before me and distract me when I set out to pray. I realise now these are earthly prayers and now yearn for a more spiritual prayer time. Your guidance therefore helps me and for this I am thankful to C.S. Lewis' powerful vision in his life and testament and to you for creating and assembling this video. I pray that my our prayers for my son be answered; his battle with long Covid will be ended victoriously, his life be evermore protected in the spiritual realms, his physical body is healed and his work flourishes again. How discouraging is this!!

If I don't 't pray as soon as I wake & rush into my day .I can't seem to get it back.(the need to pray..)🎉 I have many problems.....take many meds.. When I do pray..I feel better.. Is it laziness. Too many distractions?.😊

Thank you Pastor, I feel revival and repentance. This is a great sermon and a pillar of every Christian.

Prayer is a secret and powerful weapon of every individual. It improves and strengthens our relationship with God, while creating trust /faithfulness in Him. It's the only way of revealing our weaknesses, fears and failures to the one and only who loves us so dearly and of course who never judges us.

I am 84 years of age so I started to pray before climbing into bed, in case I start to fall asleep while I’m either on my phone or watching tv. However, after listening to this brutally honest sermon, it has left me feeling guilty, and to reconsider my ways and times to pray. Thank you and God bless you for this most insightful video!

I usually take laxative the night before praying .i drink a glass of water an hour before then give myself an enema so God will know I'm not full of shit like most of you are . The best thing is I now how to pray for myself and don't need anyone to do it for me . Then I act accordingly to my prayer to help the process along

I appreciate everything you and CS Lewis have said but as a devoted church member for 40 some years I have found that language such as 'this type of person' or "you are praying in the flesh" are very condemning in the sense of defining a person. Then, for the devoted, it becomes a struggle of identity and of 'getting in the spirit.' The best advice I could give is to start prayer by sitting back (in your heart if not physically) and taking a deep breath. God hold us up, he has counted the hairs on each of our heads and He is FOR us, we need to relax and take that in even if just for a moment, rather than strive to attain it. Do that as often as you think of it. It will build a new habit of trust.
