I really should be paying more attention to that sort of thing. There was probably a super broken trinket or ring slot item that would have been way better than what I was using but I forget what they do so quickly

@@GHOSTVTS The game doesn't really help the player a lot in that regard, I think the inventory screen could do with some more visual indications that an item or piece of equipment is new at least, so you can see when you have something new to equip.

Yeah I found out later in the game that Foulstone was a colony but it seems like once you do the event there you are locked out of getting it if you don't pick the right option. For a lot of the planet based options I found that I wasn't really paying enough attention and missed out on some good stuff, including the colony. Gutted about it as I couldn't complete a bunch of colony research projects because they required ones from Foulstone.

@@GHOSTVTS Yeah, it's a shame. I feel like the Heretic route through the game is better left to a second or third playthrough, because of how disruptive the consequences of Heretical choices can be.

I will admit that I do feel like I may have gone a little "all in" on Cassia and giving her extra turns and this may have stopped me from fully developing other characters to be as strong. I found that I wasn't a big fan of the burst fire stuff that characters could put out and focused more on Cassia doing AoE stuff and everyone else would be mostly single target with providing Cassia extra turns. If I ever revisit the game I can see myself leaning more into a different playstyle now that I know what to expect.

@@GHOSTVTS I do agree that Cassia is a very powerful character as well. I've just picked up on the fact that you like Argenta as a character, but had difficulty finding her battlefield utility. One piece of equipment that I would say is an insta-equip for her is the Blessed Bolter Casing, which you found on a ruined world in Episode 6. It makes all single shot Bolter weapon attacks auto hit, so it makes up for the lower accuracy and range of the Bolter weapon class and makes her almost an off-sniper. Have you beaten the game already, or are you still playing? I don't like watching things on Twitch because I can't catch most people's live streams anyway.

It was a bit of a surprise for me to enjoy it as much as I did as I don't play any mobile games at all. I've been playing it a lot more off stream but as I don't really know what I'm doing I've just been making sure to log in and do dailies and login bonus stuff and if I see a little red dot next to something I click it :D

Unfortunately that kind of comes with the territory with streaming. I try to keep those sorts of things to a minimum when I can but some people might have different ideas about what's considered a spoiler. Not sure. It doesn't happen often enough for me to be mad about it or anything and I'm generally pretty relaxed about spoilers in general. My basic rule on that sort of thing is that story spoilers are a big no no but gameplay "spoilers" are fine as long as it doesn't spoil the story. Stuff like "is this weapon good" or "is it ok to sell this" I'm generally ok with. I guess the person figured that I knew some stuff already because I restored haunts, even though I had no idea what that meant. I thought hauntings were like side quests where ghosts in Silent Hill would ask you to do things for them. Oh how wrong I was :D

Yeah I was using the randomiser mod to restore some hauntings that the PC version took out for some reason. I guess I must not have updated one of the values and got myself a random player model as well and it was very very broken :D You are right though, if I saw that in the nightmare world it would not look out of place at all.

I honestly feel bad for some of the characters in the Silent Hill games that don't really have much choice with the "monsters" they become. Some of them never asked for it and were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. It was even more apparent with some of the characters in Silent Hill 4. Some of the stories of the characters is heartbreaking. Also thank you for watching the vod for this. I pretty much only use this TH-cam channel for vod storage from my streams but I'm glad you enjoyed.

It does kind of have that feel of "This could actually be a real thing" especially given the work culture in Japan in general with people sleeping in their offices just to get work done. I know the game is set in the US but being a Japanese developer I guess it kind of makes sense.

That puzzle was really interesting but I wasn't a big fan of needing to have outside knowledge to figure it out. There didn't seem to be anything in game that could help you with it if you didn't have Shakespeare knowledge beforehand. Even some of the safe and maths based puzzles can be worked out without any osrt of outside knowledge. It was a cool puzzle though.
