Arthur Morgan what a character

Rdr2 is the greatest game of all time, from the amazing protagonist/characters, scenery/landscape, soundtrack, story, and random events. At the beginning of the story Arthur hasn’t forgiven John for disappearing on the gang and continuously gives him a hard time, but by the end he starts to call him “brother” which really hit me. At the beginning Arthur doesn’t even want to go out in the snow looking for John but by the end he’s willing to fend off an entire government agency just so John has a chance of living. Arthur and Jack fishing, and Jack meeting Ross by a river, and then growing up and becoming a gunslinger simply to kill Ross to avenge his Father, which also took place by a river. And the best part is neither knew that they met each other 15 years prior for the first time by a river. I could go on for hours about every detail that puts this game above the rest.

I got lost in your world of music and didn't want to leave. Thank you for giving me these special moments through these fantastic songs!

This whole story is tragic once you realize the last surviving member (Jack) ends up going down the exact same dark path that every good character in the story worked to prevent.

What a ride, fellers!

Yet me listing to this 1 end credits giving me Arthur vibes the way he was so nice to everyone having everyone smile at something good they can see within a man that became heartless to opening hearts ( I told a little thing of why Arthur sees a deer in his dream when having good honor )

If you guys like this song I strongly suggest you to search Belladona, Daniel Lanois' album from 2005. This masterpiece is from that album and it's simply sublime. All those songs can be part of RDR1 and RDR2. He is a criminally underrated musician and producer (check also Oh Mercy and Time Out Of Mind from Bob Dylan and produced by him and you'll be amazed)

How amazing is it that, out of all the outstanding music from RDR2, it is this theme I remember the most.

0:12 That jingle with the guitar always sends powerful chills down my body. That and seeing the credits on screen effectively conveyed that feeling of "wow, what a journey" as well as a sadness due to the story being at an end. There's just something about emotional music playing over some credits rolling. It doesn't matter if it's from some movie I never even heard of, when I see something like that, I associate it with emotional nostalgia and a look back and the memories of adventures and good times. Whether that be the memories of the particular movie or game, or in my personal life outside the game. Or both at the same time something like the memories of the first one or games in general or memories with my friends playing this game together or whatever. Music in general is just powerful as shit. That guitar jingle though. It sounds like something I've heard of before. Something that beautifully conveys those emotions that I've just described.

This song reminds me of the areas north and west of the rdr2 map, beyond the inpassible mountains. Theres nothing even there but bad textured landscapes, but the game makes me feel as though there are sprawling landscapes and mountains rife beyond the border...

This is what the process of redemption sounds like.
