I will say, despite your feelings for Damian's initial appearance (where he was a prick, just like Jason before they killed him) there was a really good moment between him and Dick in the 2021 Robin comic (same continuity as this comic, Rebirth) in which Dick and Damian have a heart to heart after Alfred's death, and before telling him to go his own way and that he won't stop him, Dick says, "We were all Bruce's Robin, but you were my Robin." He then tells the rest of the BatFam that he wasn't able to catch Damian, and that he got away, in the most 'big brother covering for a little brother' way I've ever seen. Honestly, all of Damian's stories post Alfred's death have really changed my opinion on him.

She then became Batgirl after Cass stepped down after Bruce’s “death”. Steph’s pre-New 52 Batgirl run was pretty good. I think you guys might like it. And also the Red Robin one was great too.

My pitch to bring nightwing into the DC cinematic universe. Stand alone Batman movie. Batman clearly can’t win 3/4 into the movie. Batman sits down and makes a statement video “this is Bruce Wayne. I have failed Gotham…” looks like an admission to the city, turns out to be a distress call to the justice league. Final fight scene Batman is about to get it. The frame freezes. It pans slowly and the flash is casually walking up in the frozen frame, walks up to bats, does an annoyed exhale and says (while in speed mode) “never thought we’d here from you again..good to see you Bruce.” Saves bats, returns to real time. Bats says “are you the only one?” Flash responds “John assessed the situation. Determined I was enough. But just in case” they turn to see a batwing fly by and nightwing jumps down in the distance to an uncomfortable silence between flash and bats. At the end of the film bats is in his cave and pulls out a recorder device from his belt, presses a button which activates a speed force on the device and he here’s what the flash said while he was in speed mode saying it was good to see Bruce again. The bat can now re-enter the justice league, and rebuild a broken relationship with nightwing.
