Awesome video Glen. I have a request/suggestion. Could you please make a call and response solo in the style of this video and upload the all tabs to your online shop. I know it would take you some time and effort to create all the tabs but I think it would be very helpful for intermediate level players like myself that could learn very rapidly by having the tabs for what is essentially a masterclass in how to perfectly connect licks together. I haven't found any other channels that sell tabs for an entire call and response solo. I hope you consider it, cheers mate.

I have one, a 1925. The neck is huge, but extremely comfortable. And while it IS a great one for blues, as shown here, it is much, much more versatile than the common "blues box" stereotype. It can and will do jazz.

Very nice, I ditched my Dean superstrat years ago for a Tele, I have 2 now a Fender and a Gordon Smith, so many people underestimate a Tele bridge pickup when adding dirt, and the neck pickup for pure clean and rhythm is something I just fell in love with.

Just discovered this & have to say this is my type of lesson. Not only do you cover all the main points of the song, but also the tone. It's like 2 lessons in one, as it your 'Sunshine of your love'. More of these please, together with your latest video playing a complete song. It's something missing from my playing - which has been either rhythm or lead, but not both. Keep up the good work. This is an amazing channel. Thank you!

Great lesson. You really get the right tone & the bends make all the difference. My playing was missing this & sounded really dull! Can't understand why you only had 8 'thumbs up' (9 now!) & no comments out of 205 views. They're missing the point. More videos like this please👍

Hi Glen. That was a great lesson. You hit the right note when you mentioned not being able to play anything when asked or in a guitar shop - Wow, how I've hated that for years of 'on/off' playing. Just looked back to see how long I've been following you - it's about a year, and I've just discovered a similar lesson of yours a couple of years ago, on Led Zep & Ramble on. Telecaster might be my 3rd guitar I buy got a les paul at the moment and am soon getting a strat for my 2nd so I think a telecaster makes since as 3rd that way ill have a strat, tele, and les paul!

A rubbishy Japanese Strat? Some of the best Strats I’ve ever heard have been Japanese. Unless he’s talking about a copy.

My approach is similar to yours here. I change pickups and control settings often in extended solos. BTW, I love the baking track you are playing over. Where can I get it?

I am a Strat person and picked up a cheap Gibson 2003 SG with a broken headstock I have to say it sounds much better than the Strat
