Does the Gen 3 still have the plastic feed ramp or did they improve and replace it with a steel version?

Just recently picked one up (green slide). Great price on Grab A Gun site (slightly over two). The price is a little higher now. I'm so glad I got it. Shoots great with about 8 different types of ammo so far. 5 fmj and 3 jhp. Almost no felt recoil or muzzle rise for me. It handles better than the Glock 19, 43, 48, Ruger EC9S, or S&W shield for me. YMMV. I did have to remove and add thread locker for a loose front sight. It fits my hand perfectly. Great grip angle. I can shoot it just as well with the flat base plate as I can with the extended mag. Go figure.

Like the fpc a bit better, but the gen 3 is interesting for sure

MC9 isn’t a pocket pistol,my P938 is a pocket pistol! I have a MC9 with a Red Dod! It’s small but not a pocket pistol!

Put it on a real rifle instead of an AR toy and you'll be even more impressed.

I like the factory performance center. Fiber optics that came out on the shield. Plus Performance center. But I'm not a big fan of the rear red fiber optic rods. Can you replace those with green ones? And if so, what size rods do they take? Your smart when it comes to sights j If you know and you could answer that question. I would appreciate it. Red dot equals large ghost ring sight when dead. Turn off red dot and practice.

The problem with all products we purchase is that in a year you might buy the same blades and run the same test and get entirely different results.

Great video! My Gen 2 has the polyurethane buffer ring, softer flat butt-pad, nice compensator, soft tube slip on cover, angled foregrip, mlok sling mount, mlok Flashlight, a flip out magnifier mount, with a red-dot instead of magnifier, cheap sling. About $200 in on the upgrades, got it for 700 rounds of wolf 7.62x39 lol. For a 40 s&w Carbine it is a SOFT shooter. With the upgrades of course. All generic cheap upgrades but all work great lol. What editing app or software are you using, exceptional job on the edits! Im about $500 in at today's ammo prices, worth it

The battery life on most of these devices is measured in years. Change your battery yearly and you won't have an issue. Irons are still a good idea though.

I have to admit that when I got my Hi-Point 995TS. I was thinking about the Kel Tech sub 2000. I'm happy with the PCC I got but I do like the upgrades they put into the Gen 3. Thanks for the video and keep shooting my friend.

Nope. Take a look @Vortex Optics. They offer red dot and lvpo optics with laser etched reticles. In case you're battery dies- you've still in the fight

I think people should consider it a requirement to own a handgun that they know precisely how it works, how to maintain it and how to inspect it and prove safe and reliable function. I don't think it should be a legal requirement or anything. Even ignorant people have the Right to bear arms... but really just a personal requirement. If I don't know precisely how a gun works, then I won't buy it (or aftermarket trigger or other parts). If I can't look at it and say "it's safe, because..."... then I wouldn't buy it or install it into any of my firearms. I've seen cases where people modified their guns and/or just reassembled them wrong and then turned around and tried suing the manufacturer when they shoot someone on accident, because of their own actions. Then the manufacturers have to spend 100s of thousands to millions of dollars on lawsuits/lawyers to prove that the accident was the fault of the owner/operator and not the gun, its design or any negligence or incompetence of the company or its employees.

The finish hold up for you? Doesn't look too bad for being carried frequently. Some people have GX4's that look like hell just from sitting in their pocket (alone and in a holster) every day. I always considered Cerakote to be part of the cost of buying a GX4, because most people seem to either Cerakote them from the start before they get all beat up (from normal use)... or Cerakote them after a couple months of carrying, because they get so beat up without any abuse or neglect. Yours looks better than most though.
