Japanese Type 14 Nambu Pistol
Today we return to Bull Moose Guns to take a look at another small arm of the Japanese used in World War 2, the type 14 would formally replace the model 1904 Nambu pistol as well as the type 26 revolver, in 1925. An often overlooked and misunderstood pistol from the second world war the type 14 would serve into the final days of the conflict even after the type 94 had entered service in the 1930s

Today I will be taking a deeper dive into the grenade discharger, or grenade launcher for the number 1 Lee Enfield rifle. I discussed this device in a previous unboxing video, but now I will show it in action and talk about the doctrine behind its use. Unboxing Lee Enfield and first impressions
มุมมอง 1737 หลายเดือนก่อน
Today, I am doing an unboxing and first impression of a surplus "firearm" that is currently available on the market. These Indian made demilled Lee Enfield rifles have been on the market for some time and have been good candidates as decorative wall hangers or parts guns, but now some have been sold with the grenade discharger cup, so let's crack this one open and take a look at what I have ins...
The Mauser of the Shah; Persian Model 1309 Rifle
มุมมอง 5887 หลายเดือนก่อน
Today I am back at Bull Moose Guns, taking a look at a fairly scarce Persian made Mauser rifle. The model 1309 was not know to exist until relatively recently as many examples in the past were believed to be Czech made and not Persian. later translations of the markings revealed there to be two versions both a domestic rifle made in Tehran, and similar rifles purchased form Czechoslovakia. Today I return to Bull Moose Guns to take a look at an exceptionally rare confederate Mendenhall, Jones and Gardner rifle. these rifles were made in fairly limited numbers between 1862 and 1864 before ceasing production late in 1864. It was a privilege to get to take a look at this rifle and share what I learned about it with you. Check out the channel on instagram milsurp_minutes...

Great video!! I recently picked up a Series 23 Kokura Arsenal that's in amazing condition, albeit with a partially ground mum but is a fantastic shooter so far! Love the 6.5Jap cartridge genuinely it's a pleasure to shoot
I love my 39a!
You ever seen the marlin bicycle gun before it's in the model 39 family very interesting gun. Thanks for watching
@@milsurpminutes5809 nope, never seen that one
Numrich has the post war firing pin springs.
Good to know, they have never disappointed me
I love how it just discharges the moment the shell goes into battery. That's just amazing.
There really is just something about old pump shotguns
No black belt is gonna stop that kind of lead I don't care how gay or strong you are or gay
I just picked up a paratrooper and it only has a slit for a blade bayonet.
Interesting, I wonder of the reciever on it is old enough to have had a blade originally or if someone dropped it into a soviet stock. Some of the earliest chinese Assembled rifles exist in paratrooper configuration. There was no discrimination in choosing rifles to cut down.
@@milsurpminutes5809 that's what I was seeing I'm gona look up the serial# and see. Sadly the bayonet was gone so I'm going to convert one to fit it.
@alexhenderson3436 th-cam.com/video/qWUwe6AHGDg/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared check this guy out he will set you right. If you keep your eyes open you will be surprised what you may find in random gun parts bins at pawn shops if you ask nicely
But we can not buy pistol in canada now😭😭
It really upsets me that your PM did that to you.
Very nice presentation. I am interested in buying the tanker shoulder holster.

I didn't know that Norinco 1911a1 was quite popular. My father had this since 2007 or 2008, I think.
My locking block broke at the range today. I noticed that the metal used was cheap garbage.
And also keep in mind that these pistols all were beaten around by cops and some military before we got them for the most part.
Looks more like you’re shooting 38s than 357s.
It is, that's what I had on hand at the time
Do you wanna sell it?😊
Afraid not
I was issued this holster to carry my M9. As members of a mechanized mortar squad, the driver and the gunner were issued sidearms.
Are you the guy from The Dictator?😂
It hitting the target louder than the actual shot. That's badass
I have one but it has the blade Bayonet!
Who is the Importer on yours?
@@milsurpminutes5809 ummm, I don't know yet
Santayo makabili ng baril 1911 PA kase ako my Ltopf na po ako
i had one of these. very dependable. only issue was that it wouldn't take ak drums.
Yeah you do have to get the magazine pretty far up there to lock in
An observation, the badge under the crown is not the cross of St. George but the cross of St. Dionysius, at this point let me remind you that it is a white cross on a blue shield (white cross on a blue shield are the colors to this day of the flags and insignia of the Greek Armed Forces - except for the Hellenic Navy - for the Army, Saint George is depicted in the middle of the cross, and for the Air Force, Archangels Michael and Gabriel are depicted).
Thank you for the correction, unfortunately I did not have a ton of time to research the background of this rifle as thoroughly as I would like to, so I got things wrong. In addition to my inaccurate phrasing of how Greece fell to the Axis powers. Thank you for the correction sir.
So, I've always been lost on this point: How can it eject an old shell and load a new shell at the same time w/o an ejection port on the side of the gun?
There are a set of fingers that act as a lifter on the upstroke and help with ejection on the downstroke. A similar component exists inside of the Browning BPS as well.
Stock recoil spring?
Not my gun, was told that was left stock
Beautiful
Very cool rifle-knew a guy that got two in, wouldn’t sell one
That darn SOB, If you can pick one up I highly recommend they are incredibly cool and handy
Ni animals were hurt during this video, try my sauce G-licious sks s model
Mine was assembled
Purchased, or issued?
It's hidden jewel in SKS story for those who know.... Average Joe wants modern AR but I respect this jewel more.... good day sammy
Right, there are so many cool little variations that the Chinese came up with for their sks rifles back in the day.
Did chuck call u out or something
Nah, I'm doing a bit he did in a video once, they're the funniest guys on the internet
If that is the original Ishapore barrel then it is 7.62 x 51 and NOT .308. That’s probably the cause of your casing sticking in the breech. I fired .308 out of mine and it broke my extractor. I then learned that .308 has too high a chamber pressure for a 7.62 x 51 chamber. Worst case is it will blow up. Use 7.62 x 51 instead.
Thanks for the heads up, honestly I don't take this out too much and .308 was all I had on hand. Thanks for watching
I just made a flapped version of this - The one you have is the same one I brought back from my time in the Marine Corps. Mine dry rotted a bit so I cut the threads away and used it as a template..... th-cam.com/video/FdtFPOm55E8/w-d-xo.html
Your big muscles are no match for this 9mm
Are you in Davie County I go to victory arms a lot.
I am not, as a matter of fact I have never actually made it to the store myself but I have dealt with Mr. Austin in person at a number of gun shows through the years
@@milsurpminutes5809 That’s amazing I know him personally at Victory arms I seen this same shotgun yesterday and bought it to compliment my Remington 870 police magnum I bought from victory arms.
I just saw your comment, so he still has them?
@@milsurpminutes5809 No sir not anymore I bought the last one 2 weeks ago.
Nice video. Been using M7 for years as a hunting rig for my 1911. Just bought another with bullet loops on the shoulder strap for a M10, 4 in revolver. Both well made, easy to wear. I removed the chest strap and use the extended shoulder strap like a tanker or pilot used. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for sharing and watching.
so theoretically, can you swap this goofy stock out for a old school aftermarket side folding one? specifically the choate?
I believe the dimensions of the magwell are slightly different, so the other stock might require some modification for it to take magazines comfortably.
На днях себе куплю такую пукалку 😅
Thanks for making an unboxing on these. I know theres a lot of people considering Southern Tactical for their builds but little content on them
Hopefully I can get some more rounds through it and give updates on how it is doing, and then doing a video on the history of the VZ-61 in the future, thanks for watching
You need a labrador retriever.
Thanks for this video. I enjoy working with leather and made one myself, but until now I had no real idea how to put the holster together. 😊
Happy to help, did you make yours for a M1911, or did you size it for a different pistol.
@@milsurpminutes5809 For a Glock17 Gen5 (Blank gun,i'm from Germany and the gun laws are very strict.). Same dimensions, fits perfectly
This guy has sex
The military still uses bolt action rifles for snipers
Correct, the 2A1 was one of the last bolt actions ever made for mass issuance in a military.
The closest thing I got is a mark 1 co2 22. Pistol lol, it’s cool you knew that about Ruger,I always thought they copied the Luger for the longest time

StG-44 In 22LR
In a way yes
I somehow got one basically brand new from the factory still box and all the goodies inside for 650 that is wild
That honestly does not surprise me, when norinco stuff was being banned a lot of people bought their guns just to hold onto anf resell, I've seen it a lot with the AK rifles made in China and it's not surprising to see one with the m1911s they made too
Duke nukem would like his shotgun back
been thinking about getting a type 53 chest rig for my 91/30, are there any better mosin chest rigs for the $ or do you recommend these? thanks
Unless somebody makes a custom one, I know of no other chest rigs for bolt action rifles. I think it's worth it
@@milsurpminutes5809kk thanks bb <3
One of my favorites! They just always work.
Right
Man i hate how much these are now.
I know it's crazy, on the upside it looks like there are a bunch of new AOWs that may be entering the market soon based on the showings at shot show this year
straight out of the original mw3
That rifle looks familiar lol jk, that is pretty cool man, especially the one point sling, it’s not tacticool anymore, 69cal that’s crazy, a paintball is 68cal
Yeah the single point largely fell out of favor in the early 2010s but at the time it was seen as something new but now you have seen otherwise
