Love it! Beautiful, huge garnets. If I’m ever in the area, I’ll definitely stop in and dig for star garnets!
It's a grate dig
How much are they
Have to call and get prices but it was vary fare
@@therockdad1 where did you get them from and I would buy them from you and I don't mind paying a little extra my husband has a big collection that he has found over the years I was asking for a birthday present for him
How much
How much is one of those I would love to have one
How much is that I would love to have it
Damn right that's awesome and how much
What is this?
Little bit of the new material darbonite adventuring. No mica no muskavit in the stone
I like it
💜💜
Leave it as it is
Interesting looking rock. Would be nice to see it dry at the end and see how much of a shine it took.
I've been carving and polishing for a few years, haven't seen one like that in any color yet.
I do love a good silver Sheen Obsidian. Would you make some from rainbow if I got you a piece? Indont know if it's big enough but it would need to be sliced again to make a pair.

👍👍👍🥰🥰🥰
Prehnit ?
Nope
Moss Agate?
WOW! Just friggin WOW!
Tiger eye grips? Now that's unique!
Thank you
These rocks are so cheap here by me at the source with zero value in south africa. Yet so sought after in other country's.
Heck send some my way
Thanks, so much fun to watch.
Thank you hopefully my videos improve
Hey I don't know if you gave me that stone last night to make something "pretty" out of. What was it if that was you?
Root beer dabinite
@@therockdad1 thank you very much!
@michaelmattson1 your welcom
I was there too, got some good WA specimens, so exciting! Also, volunteered in one of the clubs game booths. 😊 Will probably be going back Sunday! 😁
The show was good, and your case was excellent. I plan on using my shop more as well in the coming weeks now that the weather is starting to turn.

Epic scores man!
Please show us how it cuts. Very excited to see God. I love cutting and carving

I’m a young prospector I’ve located closed claims before is every thing claimed in that courdelane eagle creek area or still good gold to claim?
There are a lot of claims and all the abandoned claims. And they never did find the source of that Gold. So somewhere up there is a piece of unclaimed ground that could be yours.
@@therockdad1 I’m mining in siskiyou county where I’m from currently but I’d like to move to idaho. Got a 4” Dahlke.
@@therockdad1 eagle creek area looks the best imo thanks for taking the time to encourage a young prospector ⛏️
Is it legal, or even ethical, to grind an ugly rock on a $4,000 machine? 😮😂
If you could wave the camera around a little more wildly, it wouldn’t take so long for me to get motion sick. 😢
Great vid!! Keep it up rock dad!!
Good stuff!
Is that nothern Idaho I'm from Idaho it looks like it
Yes it's North idaho
😎👍 oh look its rockdad
What did you use for the plate?
Tigers eye is best

Where i can find that machine?
1941 mdr.
Definitely the best track ever
Is that Oamaru Stone from the South Island of New Zealand? It is so easy to carve, how did you get such large pieces back to the USA, certainly wasn't in your luggage. Be interested in seeing what else you brought home with you from NZ.
From what I understand from the artist he was living in New Zealand for a lot of years He had the blocks cut while he was there and shipped back
I used this same material for knife scales. They came out nice.
It's fun material
I saw some of this as jewelry at a rock show in Vista CA this weekend.. Makes great jewelry. I bought a bottle cork top with it included.
How do I make reservations to do the garnet dig?
Call thaire number. Look up huckleberry Garnett mine on Facebook

Epidote...one of my favorite stones for jewelry making with the greens and grays.
Amazing to find this SOOO many years after!!! Love the unusual finds! I was wondering how old you ACTUALLY were to have found it LOL
