After watching about a dozen or more Kemper reviews on TH-cam, this is by FAR the best one!! Thanks for getting down to brass tacks and just showing how useable this thing is (or not). I have the Fractal FM3 and the Helix Floor. I love the Helix form factor. It's simply the best in that regard. Though, I played a Kemper Stage at NAMM, and it feels and sounds so natural. In spite of the weak display, I think the Kemper may be my one!! It sounds and feels right!

Thanks for the upload, nice to hear from a man who's done a load of looper gigs. I've owned all the higher spec'd loopers, rc600 505mk2 Aeros and Headrush. Headrush wins, rc600 would win with a large touch screen. Aeros to me was a disappointment, i even bought a beat buddy to go with the Aeros, kept the beat buddy, Aeros sold as a bargain to someone.

Kemper is better than Helix..

Hi Chris. man I would stay all day listening to you play that wonderful guitar. I've seen many review videos of this guitar with great guitar players, but you could be the best of them all... I'm going to buy this guitar just because I heard you play on it... I'm a basic guitarist, but I'm going to dedicate myself to trying to go as far as possible. It's a great pleasure to hear you play the guitar. You really are one of the best guitar players I've ever heard in my life... and I have great knowledge of good music... Hey Chris. I saw in some of your newer videos you are using the boss looper. Is there a reason why you switched from the HR? Maybe you could do a review on those? I am currently trying to decide which one to go with.

WHat is the loud white noise through the whole video. Is that from the unit?

If the Kemper and the Helix had a baby : it would be the perfect BABY ! Kemper engineers pay attention to this : Make your products more user friendly like the Helix…. Helix engineers pay attention to this: Work on you sound make it more raw or real Like the Kemper …. there is always room for improvement 0:50

I’ve got both, kemper is the one I use the most! As for feeling like a tank; I don’t wanna carry around a tank lol! As for the screen on the kemper, put a mag sticker on it! Fixed that issue! I do dig the screen better on the Helix! As for sounding like whoever, I guess you don’t know about profiles lol! You seem like a Helix guy, if not I’d ask for a endorsement deal lol! Apples and oranges lol! No one else sounds like me, lol!

I have both Kemper rack line 6 rack and floor, Kemper amps are far far superior …..so I put the Kemper rack and helix rack in the same case and ran 4CM Kemper amps into helix ….it’s the greatest ..all the Kemper tone with helix routing and effects …try it bro

That Van Halen tone is exactly like the album. Wow.

I'm torn between this "Inspired by Gibson" Studio or an older Epiphone Standard. I absolutely LOVE the Smokehouse Burst color. The coil splitting is nice too(even though it can be added to a Standard). I know there is alot of weight relief in the Studio and my primary concern is with the loss of wood in the body. I'm not as worried about the "tonewood debate" portion of the question, but how noticeable is the difference in weight between this Epi Studio and a run-of-the-mill Epi Standard? I really want a big chunker of a Les Paul, but that Smokehouse Burst is almost irresistible to me! I know I will end up with both eventually, but for now I need to decide between an older Standard and this Studio. You are a very good player and definitely made it sound amazing in your review! I've subscribed.
