Wie ist die Qualität , bei friedrich ist das so ne Sache? Musst die Anlage viel gerichtet werden?
0:32 When he's revving the RSQ3 you can hear the valves closing on high rpms and opening again on idle, so the car isn't too loud. There is box-tunings, that stop that from happening, or allow you to have the car start up with opened valves instead of it reverting to closed every time. But still, OPF ruins so many good sounding cars...
How did you get those pops towards the end? Are you using the paddles? Thanks :)
To get those pops, you have to accelerate hard in a low gear (2nd or 3rd) and lift off the throttle in relatively high rpm (over 5000) then it pops really loud.
Hallo ich habe einen S3 Cabrio und auch die Friedrich Anlage Bestellt der Verkäufer meint der Sound ich wirklich hammer Deiner hört sich genial an! Hast Du ausser neuer Auspuff noch mehr gemacht? Wichtig ist mir das die Anlage etwas chläpft so wie Deine
Es wurde nur der Auspuff gemacht. Software etc. alles original. Sound ist echt ansehnlich für den Auspuff😅🤤 Ansonsten wurde noch das Bodykit von Maxton Design verbaut! Sieht auch top aus! Am besten mal @medusa__s3 auf instagram kontaktieren. Ist der Besitzer des Wagens!

Im going to order mine as soon as the GLC 43 2022-2023 is out, but I’ll get rid of the OPF filter. It shouldn’t be a problem in Belgium I suppose ?
Not sure about that. But living in Switzerland, here you get yourself into some real trouble if you get rid of the OPF filter🤯🤣 however i think all the countries will handle this differently

All 43 models of mercedes sound great , it’s an amazing ,deep and clear sound , audi has muted the Rsq3 and even removed the pops and bangs of the revs.

that wasn't launch control as it doesnt have it.
turn off traction control + put it in sport+ and you can mimic it, basically 90% the same thing.

The Audi 5 cylinder engine is a masterpiece of engeneering. But with the recent OPF regulations the sound is really muted :(

Aus einem Tuning shop. Z.B. Swisstuning. Die verbaute Anlage ist ab OPF.
I definitely regret not getting the performance exhaust. Still sounds and performs amazingly but the flaps open is perfectly over the top. The 63 is even gnarlier.
The performance exhaust really transforms the sound of the car! I test drove a GLC43 without the AMG perf. Exhaust and was a bit disapointed by the sound…then I ordered it with the exhaust!

There is no „proper“ launch control as woth the 63‘s. You just have to select the amg dynamic traction setting, set everything to sport+, hold the brakes firmly and floor the throttle! Once some revs are built up, release the brakes and off you go. Second gear hits in pretty agressive!🤤 enjoy!

Sounds really good on cold start! More than happy with the stock AMG performance exhaust!

I'm in France and I don't see sport escapement as an option?? Is this already equipped on its basic version 43?? Thanks
In switzerland is not equipped, you have to pay some premium and check the box when ordering to get this option. But in france that might be as standard! Maybe ask your dealership. They will know.

I just checked it on the french homepage of Mercedes. There is really no optional exhaust. Could be that in france the exhaust is already included in the base car. I guess it would be the best if you ask your local dealer directly.

That sounds amazing! The regular startup sounds pretty similar with the exhaust turned on in Comfort mode, but you can really hear the difference with emotion start in sports+ mode.
Yes there is really a big difference in the modes! Even the paddle shifter emotion start makes a huge difference with the burbles! Sounds pretty decent for a SUV😜
How do you do the “emotion start” in this vehicle?

Hi. I’ve had this car since November 2020 and I love it 🥰 You say “launch control” but there is no real launch control, right?
There is no designated launch control on the glc 43‘s. But you can turn off traction control and set it in sport+ mode. Hold down the brakes firmly with left foot and floor the throttle. Let go at about 3000rpm. Launches pretty hard :) with these auto transmissions there is no proper launch control as with a dual clutch :)

Hows it compare to the older GLC43s?
I prefer the sound even though it‘s not as lound as the older one. But has a nicer and deeper tone to it. Interior is much better with the new infotainment! And outside it looks way better because of the redesigned bumper and exhaust tips. But engine is the same (has jut a different tune with bit more power).
@@drivenunfiltered4243 cool sounds alot louder in the videos than the older ones maybe its because its deeper like you say. Im getting a 17 plate 43 this week. Its got the 63 exhausts and grill though. Just looking at some new 22” alloys
Then you already got the looks ;) the exhaust is really loud. But i think if you measure it the older might have more db...the deeper sound could really make it feel louder. i think the performance difference is not significant consiering it‘s a SUV. I‘m working on a second, better sound video :) stay tuned for that one.
I hear the new EU regulations forced Mercedes to lower the sound and emissions of the exhaust a bit, but imo it still sounds great. I’m told it sounds a little louder in other countries. I’ve got one coming in June here in the US so I’m excited!
