    That's not a good spray. 🫤 Seems like there are some Monarks that are either factory defects or Chinese knockoffs. If you can't clean up those streamers, I suggest trying the Firad nozzles. It's like a night and day difference 🤤

    I was in junior high then, the parents of my girlfriend had a 1966 beige Calais 4-door hardtop. While I was too young to drive, I rode in it dozens of times. My parents had a loaded 1966 Bonneville, which seemed smooth and quiet until getting in this car. I noticed that it wasn't nearly as powerful as my parents' Pontiac, but the difference in the two cars was remarkable. What I particularly remember was the difference in the seats: those in the Cadillac were more firm and supportive. Though this was the bottom-line Cadillac, replacing the Series 62, one would never know it from the silence and the quality. And the temperature control was amazing; only a handful of cars had it back in the 1966 model year. Imperial didn't have it yet and Lincoln only got it that year.

    You can damage your PCM if you're using a conventional test light. Lisle makes a special test light that's safe for computer controlled circuits. It has a dual colored led light to test for polarity as well.

    • @wewillsurviveone
      @wewillsurviveone 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, it's a voltage drop circuit in almost all injector circuits so 12 volts is on one side and the computer supplies 5 volts so the injector sees the 7 volt difference. Resistance is resistance but he needs to check that 12 volts, make sure it's steady than see if it's still applying the 5 out the computer. Most likely from what I see the injector drivers are bad meaning the ECU is a paper weight

      @@wewillsurviveone not many people know about the 12-7-5 volt difference on a PCM and its controlled circuits.

      @@danp7463 honestly the only reason I do is cause I took Auto tech in college. But that is only for high impedance injectors I believe, but it might be the same on both styles just that it has to have low impedance injector drivers if you are running them

    My first Caddy was a 66Calais sedan. Bought it in 73 for $500.00. Cars were waaay cheaper then. Kept it for 3 years and gave to my Father in law. He drover it for another 10 years until the floor board rusted out so bad we were afraid the seat would fall through. Next was a 69 sedan de ville. Last one I could afford was a 71 Coupe de ville. Def. was my favorite.

    • @viciouspoodle5543
      @viciouspoodle5543 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Brian S. I know a lot more about Lincolns than Cadillacs: The Power Min Vent window, as it was called, started on the Lincoln Continental in, I think 1973, with the Town Car option and then was offered on the 1974 Mark IV and continued the Mark VI. The B pillar window on the Marks slid back for the 69 - 75 Marks but stopped with the 1976 mark IV to save some weight and a few bux!

      @Brian S. In September, 1979 I bought a used White and Lipstick Mark IV. Loved the car put what a pain it was to maintain and so many things went wrong with it. I spent a fortune. I just loved how it looked.

    • @joeseeking3572
      @joeseeking3572 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes of course. They were standard on the Eldorado and the Fleetwoods in the 1960's (to 69 - that redesign got rid of vents). In fact the Fleetwood has power rear vent windows as well, so you got 8 buttons. No one else did that. Chrysler had them in Imperial - but you could order them in many full size cars: regular Chryslers, Pontiacs, Olds, Buick, Mercury, etc. When Ford made a blind quarter 'Town Landau' T-bird in 1966 (thus deleting the rear power windows), you got power vents as a compensation. FoMoCo's later power minivents were a half substitute - you got a vent, and it would lower before the main window, but was not really independent of it - single switch and it didn't have any rotation for the old ram air effect.

    • @Мирич-з4е
      @Мирич-з4е 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      2-speed? Bro, I don't think Cadillac ever had a 2-speed transmission. At least not as far back as the 1930's. I don't know about the 1920's. In the first half of the 60's, they were making 4-speed hydramatic and after that, they switched to 3-speed and used it until the late 70's or early 80's.
