The blurred background is due to the sims 3 being considered like a multi-player game. I think acottonsock has a video with a reshade that deals with that problem? Not sure tho

Thank you so much for your fun and informative video. I also love the velocitygrass stencil remover mod, here is a little tip: S- for stencil will sometimes remove the silly little stencils EA likes to put on otherwise perfectly fine clothes. The p-or specular remover is my most used one. While in CAS hit the create a style button then open the cheat box and type in deco leave a space and then type the letter you want to use. s-is stencil, o- is overlay, m- is for multiplier, p-is for specular as stated above, and a-is for mask. You will sometimes need to try each one to see which will give you the effect you desire. The great thing about using p-for specular is that it will remove the annoying shine often found on EA clothing. One last thing, when you achieve the result you desire, be sure to either click out of the design mode or click on another part of the sim. If you don't and you try to adjust the color you will lose the effect, simply click away and then you can come back to tweak things. Don't panic if something seemingly goes wrong, the undo button works to return things back to the previous look. I apologize for the long post and I hope it is helpful. Cheers!

thanking youtube for recommending me your channel, i love this build so much! the dark greens are chefs kiss, this house is just to my preference: structured yet open (lots of windows and archways), luxurious and yet somewhat rustic, like with the little wooden table in front of the fridge :) on another topic, i have to ask how do you make your game run so smoothly? i checked your pc specs and mine is supposed to be slightly better, but i cant run this game without lagging for the life of me! anyway, ty, great video :)
