Twic County Commissioner visits Athony in Twic County, Warrap State
Twic County Commissioner, Hon. Simon Aguek Chan visited Athony area in Twic County, Warrap state on Monday to assess the living conditions of the farmers and listen to challenges facing them following the onset of the cultivation season.
Commissioner Chan, accompanied by seven chiefs from different Payams of Twic County, stressed the importance of peaceful co-existence between the two sisterly communities of Twic and Ngok.
The chiefs and commissioner also raised their concerns to the commander of the forces in the area following the recent attacks that led to the wounded of three people and, the raiding of 13 cows and goats.
