This channel exists because
- it's about all the random stuff that I do in my spare time
- have the energy to actually film it
- have the time to edit the video and post it online
- a digital record of me for my kids
Woodworking - I don't have any formal training. I never even took woodshop in high school. It's all self learning and countless hours of research and watching videos. A lot of it is simply common sense and a know how to work with basic power tools.
For me, it's just as much about the journey than it is about the final product.

DIY Behind the Door hidden storage from spare wood / pallet wood
มุมมอง 2.1K2 ปีที่แล้ว
An easy DIY weekend project. I had some spare wood that's been laying around for a while and I had the itch to use some power tools. I satisfied my power craving by building some useful much needed storage for the laundry room. And the best thing about it? It's totally hidden! In this video, I custom built a prototype modern wood cell phone stand from spare wood that I had lying around in the garage. In this video, I show the basic steps to build a custom all wood desk top for my sit-stand desk frame. The desk is made breadboard style which makes it aesthetically pleasing and adds strength. In my opinion, keeping it minimalistic contributes to productivity as there are fewer distractions...

I like your Mr. Hanky.
one of my most prized possessions.... !
Why the screen is gray? It should not be white? Tnx
No, it should not be white. It's preferred to be an ALR screen and there are no white ALR screens.
Great use of a pallet. Pure master piece!!
I thought so too! Thx!
Nice build. I like the design. Well done.
Thanks, it was a "i dunno what i'm doing" design....
@@trendng4016 I have that same design method at the start of most projects.
Nice. Im in SF. Thanks for sharing. I just got my ebike and cant wait ti get started!
It's a great hidden trail. You won't believe it's in the middle of the city. Enjoy!
Why show the difference between projecting onto the wall vs screen, or turn the damn lights off, when you can show all the useless crap instead....
Noice
Was that a furry robot?
You are living the bougie bum dream
hey can you make a video on developing a nuclear powered particle accelerator using scrap wood and recycled coke cans?
agreed, would like to see that.
It's in the works and will be published in line with my Overlanding video
great job ed! can't wait to see more of your bike riding videos too...
Thx buddy!
Can i hear your review after owning it for a while
Hello, I've had it for more than 2 years now and have ridden it more than 3000 miles. It's had its issues, mostly Bafang motor blew out twice and both times had to send it in for repairs. I replaced the chain and gears once already. I also replaced the brakes but this is just normal maintenance. The battery can do about 25-30 miles average, of course, that really depends on environment, weight, hills, etc. Overall, I'm really happy with the bike and enjoying it immensely. Was this helpful?
In my gaudy, mid-century PINK tiled and tubbed bathroom that I’m certain was designed for hobbits, the only place for storage is behind the door. Thank you for this clear and concise idea and tutorial. Just what I had in mind. Reckon I better get started. 😅
I’m a master at the skill of procrastination!
wow! i gotta go on this trail!!!!!
Where was this? By Laguna Honda?
Yes, behind Laguna Honda Hospital. I show the trail head in the beginning of the video as well as a map...! It's pretty amazing that it's so lush and surrounded by houses...
So boring whats the point?
He’s riding on stock DNM shocks. Don’t expect enduro footage from these.
Appreciate the feedback. It's more to show ppl the trail that's there cuz not a lot ppl know about it since it's hidden and smack dab in the middle of the city
Wow, the most thrilling 3 mph ride I have ever seen! 😱
LMFAO!
For me, that's an awesome ride from my home to my office . Thanks for posting!
I'm all so curious how things are holding up things are breaking or all good
Hello! So i've put over 2500 miles in 2023 on this bike and yes I've had some issues. I've sent the Bafang motor in TWICE for repairs - 2 separate blown gears. That's more an issue with Bafang rather than Luna. I've also replaced the chain since I wore it down pretty significantly. Let me know if you have any other questions. You can follow me on Strava: www.strava.com/athletes/113177558
can you please share the link of screen
There's several options, the one i got is the gray one: shop.carlofet.com/home-theater?screen_material=FlexiGray&finished_edge=Raw+Material&seam=Seamless&packaging=Rolled+on+a+Tube&aspect_ratio=16%3A9&size=145%22+%2871x126%29
Do you still ride this bike?

It’s good but if your watching something with captions you might not be able to see the bottom of the screen 😅
Yes agreed. And i need to add a charging slot so i can have it on the stand and charge it at the same time. It was a prototype so i know where i need to make improvements. Thanks for watching tho!
Mr. Hanky, the Christmas Poo!!!
Yes, so awkwardly awesome...!
Wow! Great video!
Nice Taco Bell! Beautiful view!
Very cool 😎

How are things? It's been a while. Hope things are well up north!
@@trendng4016 things are going well! Thankfully not too cold yet up here. We’ll have to catch up.
Definitely! Finally finding some time to upload videos. I have like 5 or 6 videos i'm working on. I haven't done anything on this channel in over a year.

I loved your video!! The right amount of humour and instruction... Thank you for sharing!!
Glad you enjoyed it! Gives me motivation to post more, when I find the time !
Bravo
Has there been any addition or upgrades to your home theater since posting this video?
Unfortunately no. I’ve been too busy with other things to upgrade. I haven’t even gotten a media console yet simply due to funds and not finding the right one. Maybe in a few months and I’ll be sure to post. Thx
Great job....from Humble,Tx
Gia đình nào có một người chồng người cha khéo tay như thế này thật là may mắn.
Great build! Love the lighter bits😀
no black frame?
hello nice job a question but the alr cloth is a specific clr for ust and a normal alr cloth because for ust you need a specific cloth not only alr where did you buy it they told you that it is a clr thanks
No follow up on this bike. Bummer.
Hi there. So far this year alone, I’ve ridden 1500+ miles on it. The bike blew a motor recently and I had to send it back to Luna for repairs. Also, the gears were stripped, dunno whether it’s from riding so much or just cheap gears. It’s a solid bike but it’s been showing some age as of late.
I wish I could assemble a bike that easily 😆
Assembly was easy. Maintaining it is the hard part, ie brakes, gears, shocks, etc...
you really can. I just did one in 10 minutes
Any issues with hot spotting with this set up?
What’s hotspotting ?
@@trendng4016 a particularly bright spot showing up on the screen, like if you held a flash light 6 inches away from the screen. More likely to happen with UST projectors.
I have not noticed hot spotting whatsoever. It's a laser projector and not a bulb so i assume that may be why.
Really like tour Mr Hankey 😅😅😅
LOL, it's one of my prized possessions. It even talks when you press his tummy... Classic!
What would suggest for an door screen
I don't understand the question... what door screen?
The idea of using a French cleat was very cleaver! Thank you.
Thanks - I thought so myself! Makes it easy to move it left and right when needed!
Woodglut has very good and accurate woodworking plans.
Did u use a Normal Alr screen or does it need to be a Clr screen ?
I don't think the one i used was actually an ALR screen. Saving up for one and will have one soon. This works quite well still, but agreed the picture could be MUCH better with an ALR.
I made this out of Teak - came out so nice. Thank you very much for sharing your idea (copied or not). Will be a great xmas 2022 gift! Thumbs up and subscribed
I’d love to see a photo !
@@trendng4016 Sure! How can I share a photo?
@@alhakisan Do you have a link to photos? That'd be great! Thanks!
Great video, could you tell me how many miles you get on throttle only?
Oh wow. Hard to say since I’ve never done just throttle only. I would also think it depends on if the route is flat or has hills. Your mileage will vary greatly.
