Great job guys , I know that is hard work .
Thank you!
ill give you a tip i learned the hard way. stack all the bales on edge in the barn not just the bottom layer, they keep their shape wayy better!!
Interesting. Good to know! Thanks!
A completely enjoyable video. I have a super 69 nh hayliner. Im excited to watch more of your videos. I also couldn’t hay without good friends. Cheers from So.ILL
Thank you! Yes, those older New Hollands are great! My neighbor had the exact same model baler as you actually. God bless - Everett
The fuel costing less and the oil changes being 1/3 the price of a diesel makes a big block a great choice. I just bought a 1992 K2500 regular cab 454 5 speed manual with 114,000 miles from it's second owner for $5600. It's a completely rust free truck from north Idaho. It goes well with our 2001 K2500 8.1 Suburban.
That's awesome! They're such good trucks! GM big blocks are such a good combination of reliability, simplicity, and power. God bless - Everett
Have you ever weighed one of those bales
I’m trying to find the deck belt for that exact deck, no where local seems to carry the 156 at all
I've got a 1998 Chevy 3500 with a 454. It's a crewcab with a longbed. I wish it was a manual transmission. It is awesome in the snow between the weight and the 4wd.
Heck yeah! They're such good, simple trucks!
Love watching your videos and love making hay and what state y’all live in and west Tennessee here
Thank you! We're up in Central VA
I have the exact same tractor with 1700 hours on it, what did you pay for that one?
Just shy of $40,000 with a little over 3,000 hours on it.
Good job Everett and I like hearing Jeremy 's southern accent .😊
Great work and I'm glad to see your videos again .
Thank you!
Good job young man, keep up the hard work. Can’t wait for more content.
Thank you! God bless - Everett
JD fajne traktory, ale hydraulikę mają zrąbaną.
Great tractor. I use an M8540. Love it. Hate the transmission lock, but the tractor is awesome. Nice baler too. God bless and keep it up
Yeah, I love the M9540 too. They're good tractors. Only issue I've really had with it so far (besides a few minor breakdowns) is the transmission is a little more clunky than some John Deeres I've run. I'll probably do a review video on it someday once I've put more hours on it.
Hey there. Thanks for the videos. What PTO speed do you run the baler at and do you idle down to eject a bale? It doesn't sound like you do, but just wondering. Have you ever had a bale that wouldn't eject? Thanks
Thank you! I keep it at 540 RPM the whole time. I've never had any problems with it not ejecting. Thanks for watching and God bless - Everett
I started out like you guys but now I only make 500 squares and rest to round bales few year's ago don't sell any.
It's definitely a lot of work! Round bales is the way to go. Lol
I have the same truck with 6.2 and same color scheme.
Dang! That's really cool!
very beautiful, truly a dream place......which state of the United States are you in????
Thank you! We're in VA
Hey Guys you need a Pop up bale Loader on the side of Trailer it make it easier to pick up hay ....
For sure! They're kinda hard to find around here, but I've considered buying one actually.
give a kid a manual trans, and prevent texting while driving
Nice video
Thank you!
Dope Truck.
Thanks man!
How much will the tractor lift just curious?
I don't know the lift capacity off the top of my head. With fluid in the rear tires several thousand pounds, but I don't know the exact number.
Just bought a 2wd auto for 1k
Heck yeah!
Just bought a NH 638, First time I’m gonna use a round baler. I’ve always done small squares. This video was helpful. Thanks.
That's awesome! Let me know how it goes. Our 634 is still going strong! God bless - Everett
It went well, started running it today, !
@@jayrobert5917 Heck yeah! Congratulations!
@@TwoFarmBoys thanks few hiccups, end gate didn’t close once, so just dumped out a loose bale, and somehow I didn’t bring the twin tube back far enough to cut the string, other than that it was a good day,
@@jayrobert5917 I've had both problems before. The twine cut misses every now and then still. I've had the door pop open before too.
Long shot- is it for sale?????
Lol. Heck no!
@@TwoFarmBoys aw man :-|
@@jasonmoskowitz246 Yeah, she's just too reliable to sell.
@@TwoFarmBoys Enjoy to the fullest then- I’ll look into putting a front diff and 5 speed in the Grand Marquis lol
Is it just perspective, or are ypu making tiny bales?
They're 4x4 size bales
@TwoFarmBoys nice. I'm used to 5x6. Looking to get my own baler for 4x5s
@@loadmastergod1961 Nice!
Awesome. Wish the country could turn from its difficulties and share the Christian virtues you are sharing. May the Lord bless you and keep you.
Amen to that! This country needs God so desperately. God bless and thanks for watching! - Everett
How are you doing on this truck now bro
Haven't made hardly any modifications to it (and I don't really plan to) but she's working harder than ever! Still running great! I plan on doing an update video at some point.
wow its been a while thanks for the video
Thanks for watching! - Everett
I have a 1994 GMC SIERRA 7.4L with a Manual Transmission Long bed 4x4. Looks similar to yours but the only difference is GMC. I want to add towing mirrors to mine. Your’s look good with those mirrors bro 🔥 any recommendations?
That's awesome! The manuals are definitely more rare. My truck came with those already on, but I busted one off and had to replace it. These are the ones I got and they're the same ones. This is the version with the wires for power adjustable mirrors, so if you don't have those obviously just get the regular ones. Can you show a video on how to string it. There's no video out there.
I don't know off the top of the head as it's my neighbor's baler.
I don't know a single thing about this industry. I hope to learn through your education. I will subscribe to your channel to learn more. Thanks brother! And may God's blessing always reside with you and your family
Thank you! I have another stocker cattle video planned soon. Thanks for watching and God bless! - Everett
I just bought the same truck, though not nearly as in good if shape. It’s only got 133,000 miles in it though and I’m loving it so far.
Congratulations! They're a blast to drive! God bless - Everett
I hope you payed lachlan well for all the hard work he did .

What size are your bales, 4x5?
4x4. They sell really well around here. Kind of a niche market. Thanks for watching - Everett
I hope you got some friends ,I still don`t have any.
I do have some and they all want to ride into town in their own crew cab trucks instead of my extended cab. Lol! Thanks for watching and God bless - Everett
I have seen many negative comments from PETA, or other animal groups on how cattle are treated and they really are not based on reality. The truth is these animals are the owners business their bread and butter, so they treat them well. It doesn't make sense that cattlemen would intentionally harm their livestock so they earn less of a living. They want to sell cattle that are the best weight and condition they can get them in. Well done Gentlemen.
Thank you! Absolutely! And also, a big misconception among people who don't know agriculture is that bigger operations are bad. Generally the more efficient a set up is, the less stressful it is on the animals. This silencer chute is a great example of that. It's way less stressful for us and the cattle using this setup than a lower level chute. Efficiency almost always means less stress. Thanks for the support and thanks for watching! - Everett
Been almost 2 years but I still remember my first tree job 😂. And the bucket truck is nice.
Lol! I bet it is!
Wow! K2500, 7.4l, manual transmission NV4500 and 4wd! Really rare
It is! I'm very grateful I was able to find one in such good condition. God bless - Everett
K2500 includes 4WD 😅, no need pointing it out
With the 6.2L the horsepower was irrelevant. The torque was the power. The LH6 engines were hampered by emissions crap while the LL4 engines didn't have the egr/epr. All the engines were de-tuned at the factory. Using the Stanadyne Pump that the Army uses would give you 180 HP and more torque. If you had to replace an engine GM Goodwrench crated long block were available for $3450. Cheap to maintain compared to today's diesels. Some told me that they still make the 6.5L in Mexico.
Yeah, not much hp but great MPG! It's not as slow as people make it out to be though. Honestly I love it! It's a great little engine. Thanks for watching! - Everett
I just 5speed swapped my 3500 I hate autos 😅
Nice! Yeah, me too. Lol. Thanks for watching - Everett
Run 10w40 if it’s burning oil. I own one it works 94 k2500 7.4l
Good to know! Thank you!
I'm proud of you. You're really going places. It's nice to see somebody with a good work ethic who is willing to take risks.
Thank you! I really appreciate that. God bless - Everett
Here in Oklahoma we are in mainly Bermuda grass country with a little dallis grass and Bahia. Last few years I have been getting 3-4-8 foot rectangular bales and has 400 lbs of mixed fertilizer and irrigation and cut every 25 days and will test about 15-18 percent protein. Really enjoy watching your videos. Thanks. L. T.
Thank you! God bless - Everett
I had 1996 GMC Sierra SLT 2500 454 sure miss my old truck
I don't blame you! They're definitely great trucks! God bless and thanks for watching - Everett
Sale barn calves are high risk. I think you did all you could and in good time. Country boy’s figuring it out.
Thank you! God bless - Everett
hay making like this is very hard work , now with round or square bales is so much easier , for those of us that have done it you know what i mean , we used to make about 10,000 a year years ago with the straw as well , we did have a flat eight system , before that a perry loader and before that just how you did it , when big bale silage came in we did that and it made it some much easier , we should have made silage in a clamp I think but was not up to me back then , I still think little bales have their place and its always good to have some around , you have some good friend that will come and help you for sure
Thank you! There's definitely easier ways to do it, but I enjoy the work. I am blessed to have good friends. God bless and thanks for watching - Everett
