Filament is NOT food safe. The small amount of metal poisoning you will get is not enough to affect you short term. It will affect you long term.

It depends upon what you mean but the compliance can be integrated into something with movable parts or separate pieces. It’s actually almost certainly going to be part of at the minimum sliding/moving parts if used functionally and if not it still might be peices 3d printed inside of each other to combine usage and movement. One key aspect that makes compliant mechanisms so useful is the ability to remove SOME bearings or linked parts, or simplify them. 3d printing means linked parts can be printed inside of each other so it’s simply but permanent, and compliance is used to oftentimes create unique complex or difficult smooth motion where needed inside of a system, but it doesn’t mean there aren’t separate parts that link or interact. These examples actually utilize single print parts that are separate but permanently linked when they are hinged or have separate pieces. Sure technically a compliant mechanism involves a single piece for definition purposes but it’s still equally effective to print and have function designs like the one in the video, nevertheless implement it into situations where the mechanism is linked to regular parts and bearings. There is still compliance in each piece the creator is just showing those compliant pieces as part of their full design and use.

Nope, no custom G Code, I printed it straight from the preloaded GCode. Does yours have an AMS as well? Maybe that’s why it wiped

Thanks for info on perimeter line around model, works great, but the line on front edge of plate still showing. How do I turn of that line from printing?
Great question! That line on the front edge of the plate is for the nozzle extruder to properly start the first layer. You can modify the GCode and eliminate that, but I suggest keeping it since Bambu lab printers first layers are great!

Battery storage
The tire cap was the most useful. That should not be the case. Would classify as click bait. The cactus hat at the end did make me dislike the video. Not only is it not useful, it doesn't reach a majority of people, so it's not practical. I liked the door hanger, and it was printed in a strong position. But you only placed baseball caps on it and didn't show off that strength. Hopefully it comes off as feedback and not annoyance. I do admit that it's annoying to waste time watching the whole video and coming away with "I should print some tire caps."
Thank you for the feedback! I agree about the cactus hat. I was debating on not putting that in. But it is a great design and can be useful for decoration! I’ll try to make more practical choices for the next list.

First item shown in the fast sum-up and it's already a no go. You do NOT use regular filaments for food stuff. And even if you get food safe ones (PETG), your printer needs a cleaner-filament in between, getting rid off all the residue of any other left over filament plastics ... please add a note to your video, if possible (there is a comment-bubble feature at your youtube studio).

Yeah I think you’re right. If you were to just print it by itself, then my guess is ~8hrs. But JLC3DP likely print many objects on the same build plate at a time for efficiency since they get a lot of different orders, so maybe that is why they quoted 3 days
Where is the plate under the prints for?
Great question! Those are to help with build plate adhesion, so for the first layer. Once the first layer is a success, there is a great chance of the rest of the part succeeding!
