AScension Sci Fi Movie | Behind the Scenes Photos - Living on Titan
This is a behind-the-scenes look at the making of "Ascension", a science fiction feature film set on Titan, the largest moon of Saturn. First Snow Storm Snowsuit - Real Life Maggie Simpson!

Some footage I pulled from the family archives - 20 years ago our daughter experienced her first snow with less than enthusiastic results. She kind of resembled Maggie Simpson from The Simpsons. The filmmakers couldn't stop laughing though!

Солярись ... римейк .
In this video a APACHE helicopter had to make an emergency landing, and I remember years ago when I was on leave, and I took leave to go home and me and a friend of mine, went to the big island and we were high in the volcanoes, and everything was black,we could hear a helicopter over our heads, and we saw a helicopter flying over us,but I wasn't afraid, because I was active Military, and all I had to do was show my military ID. Active service.
Excellent build! The precision and details are amazing! We work with 3/4" U-Matic videotape and capture it to a digital format. You can see our work on our East End Productions Archive channel. I just came into possession of some incredible 16mm film from the early 60s through 70s. I am driven by a personal and historical responsibility to make sure this footage is digitized in the highest quality possible. Initially, I will do a simple projector to video camera capture. Once I get that done, I plan on modifying the projector into a single frame capture device. Your use of stepper motors is inspiring. If I can get a robust motor to drive the film gate effectively, I should be able to build a LED light source and Macro lens system for the digital workflow. Your videos have been very informative and inspiring. I wish I had access to a machine such as yours, but I got some good ideas from you to possibly build what I need. Thank you for an outstanding series!
It's lucky Apaches can see very well in the dark.
Nice german flag!
Interesting. A lot of work must have gone into that set.
I cannot say that I understand the ending. It looks like he regretted murdering the child. But he did not regret murdering the dissidents? The crystals were pretty tho.
why did you not film the landing
You land in my backyard, that choppers MINE!!!
Love the circling Apache unable to help but still keeping an eye :)
I'm very thankful they landed safely and no one was injured and they were able to get airborne again. My son is in the US Navy and I wish the best for all servicemen !
Don't matter if it's a frisbee or an Apache you get to keep it if it fell into your yard.
1:28 Wow, that was a smooth landing!
0:30 The service representative on the phone: "Have you tried turning it off and on again?"
Flying in a B-17? I am definitely putting this on my bucket list.
1:00 East German flag in the background i think
Me, as a German, saw the German flag and wondered why it didnt look like germany. Next Scene and my questions were answered. Lower Heidelberg? Is that in Texas or where is that?
Nvm Pennsylvania
Hey mom can we keep it?
That other apache was un able to help because there was no one who needed to be turned into minced meat.
Bro, my favorite helicopter in my backyard. Are you serious right now! Something you don’t see everyday great vid.
We need a voice over by Sir David Attenborough for this….
Sometimes shit breaks.
Probably from " The Gap ".
That was pretty cool and you definitely don't want to be on the bad side with that thing coming at you
I think the family offer lemon aid.
Did yall make em some diabetic coma sugary ice tea and cookies?
The most badass military arial vehicle made...Ppl still don't know how insane that platform is...
Must have landed in the middle of German-American's version of "Little Germany" in PA. Saw the "Bundesdienstflagge" in the back. Definitely not around an Embassy or something, so must be just German family putting out the more official flag there, or a small town celebrating their German Heritage etc.
vooooov
Imagine seeing a guy with an Uber Eats Delivery jump out 😂😂 "Eh sorry sir....but this isnt my order...but its ok i like Big Macs... 😅😅"
This is a very nice video....I have a suggestion though - rather than use elevator music, which does not at all fit with the video, you could use free public domain music dating from the 1940s. That would add a lot to the nostalgia of a 1940s-era aircraft.
One hell of a yard sale. Surplus on special. 😂
I would have called DIBS
I remember as a teen in Wiesbaden, Germany at the airbase i lived on we had a weekend of checking out military equipment. I've been inside a Abrams tank. I've been in both the pilot and gunners seats of an Apache. Been in a Cobra. Both seats as well. Didn't get picked for the Blackhawk flight...but I've been inside of one those too!❤ Been in Huey. Been in a 58. These were formative years! I love our miliary! I love my pops for serving 34yrs. I love that he served 2 tours in Vietnam and came back mostly clear in his head. He's a strong man! Talked about it seldom when i was growing up. But I got it. He did his duty!❤ Pops went to the sandbox for Desert Storm. Yep! Served in 2 wars. He's not quite the man he used to be. But God Almighty I Love and Respect My Father So Much!!!❤
And that is how the Greenville Neeighborhood watch was markd safe in 2024 from the Antifa riots....
@34:30 gotta love the 6 volt battery used as a sample case for vials. 😂 Keep in budget says the producer, "and has anybody seen my golf cart recently!?😂
Why is german flag there?
the helo is brokedick
Hey Gary, get over here now. You’re not gonna believe this.
bet they got future recruits from that interaction with the locals.
Can i use a Panasonic Lumix DMC-G3K for this?
There are really 2 camera requirements besides the correct macro lens - the camera needs to have a remote trigger port, and should have the option of taking vhe picture with an electronic shutter rather than the standard mechanical one. You'd have to check this, as I'm not familiar with the G3.
Can i use a Panasonic Lumix DMC-G3K for this?
That is so badass cool!
Better safe than sorry 😅
I plan on getting a Canon 814XL-S converted to crystal sync 24 fps. It’s probably my best option outside of getting broke buying one of these with a crystal motor.
If you go with 16mm, you could get an Eclair camera - the NPR and ACL may be more affordable and are usually equipped with crystal motors. I actually shot a film years ago with the Canon 814XL-S when Kodak still made sound film. It was a good cheap alternative and the magnetic stripe was an easy way to get sync sound without crystal. The 814 is a good camera, but it's pretty loud indoors - the Eclair cameras, if working properly, are quieter. When I used the 814, I constructed a homemade blimp which helped a little. On the plus side, Super 8 is a lot cheaper than 16mm.
With that flag in the background, you’d think this was in Eastern Europe or some old soviet bloc state…wth
They should have at least offered rides
The amount of youtube adsa getting on my fucking nerves
Wow this was a phenomenal video. I’m really hoping to make something like this. I just started home processing Super 8 and am currently using a Kodak Reels scanner which isn’t good at all really. I’ve been thinking about either something like your setup or a 3d printed arduino type setup. Also, I saw your Yankee Lady video as well. I took a flight in her in 2022. Top 10 life experiences!
Thanks for watching - good luck with the scanning!
Hi, did you consider using the transport from a cannibalized projector? I did that for 8mm and it solved most problems.
