Good day, please i want to start a small scale zobo drink business do i need nafdac registration number and how do i get nafdac approval
Good morning.. You will need NAFDAC Registration if you are supplying to supermarkets. But for a start you can create the product and start selling to individuals, this will help you test the product in the market and know if there is demand for it, this will also help you get feedback from customers. When you have proved the product go ahead and scale your product by getting your NAFDAC Registration Number. I have created 14 videos to help you register, watch them on my Channel here. I also created a book to help you with documentation.

Some use sodium benzoate, any preservative you decide to use ask the seller how to apply it.

How much do it cost to register product from an Africa country putting into consideration the recent Africa free trade agreement and how does it cost for products from France and Poland..food and beverage products.
Kindly watch the video. There is an estimate on how much registration cost. But however if NAFDAC has to travel out of Nigeria to visit your production suite. It cost a whole lot. Please make more enquiries on this.

One of my friend registered five types of spices and she spent 800000 an enterprenure cannot afford that .
I know that she has to register each spice separately but N800,000 is it just on registration fees? If it's just registration fees alone, then I think it's high, did she use an agent? The person will also include his or her fees. But if it includes other aspects of the registration like documentation etc then it's possible she spent even more

Check in your location and ask. You can buy bulk from lagos or Asaba. But as a beginner go to any major market in your location and ask

You can use this strategy: Make samples of your products and show supermarkets. Then produce only when they order. They have refrigerators and freezers. Let me know if this works

@@maryammohamed3344 I don't use preservatives. Please if you have to use preservatives check the label of the product you use to know the required quantity or better still ask the seller of the product for the accurate usage. Over usage can be very poisonous. I also dropped a handle in this video @temilayoandmom's channel she did a video on that.
