6 years ago at just the age of 10 turning 11 my parents purchased my first horse, off the track after sitting brood in a pasture for 7 years. I know my eq was by NO MEANS pretty in this so please don’t comment on it. you made the right decision not buying the one that didn’t want to get vetted by another vet, thats such a big red flag!!
That mare you took on trial is clearly in pain. She needs to be checked by an unbiased vet. There is definitely something wrong with her mouth or the bit, and possibly pain in other areas
Owner got 30 days free training out of it. I cringe to think how much money she lost on all of those lessons and clinics just to end up not getting her.
That's the silliest thing I ever heard. Trying horses too far away and not buying them because they are too far away.
I was wondering that, too. That’s a phenomenal waste of everyone’s time, including the sellers.
