LOL. I completed DU P6 for 1st time ever with cirrus boss with 13 retries. The last wave just keeps taking turn like Cirrus has got a DDD with 100% action fwd😂😂. But it was fun tbh and painful at the same time😊

Genius society gossip curio is still very powerful here because of better occurences and wealth donains. I tried a kind of capitalism, you can just buy everything in transaction and overwrite unnecessary blessings

I love when you are able to come up with varios team to clear level 6, and here i am spending 3 full days and still unable to clear protocol 6 😢 Seriously, i need help, any path / team recommend for easiest clear in your opinion? (I have all character exept Sparkle and Robin)

How this Preservation + Remembrance Equations works is every time it takes turn it will consume ALL shield you have to deal damage and turn it into shareable shield that is going to reset every time it takes a turn also chance to freeze This Preservation + remembrance equations is the worst if you don't have a Pers char that is not regenerate shield over time like Gepard for example

Taoqi murders in this mode. From all characters I've tried she did by far the most damage. I think I used the Bell Borne on her as well. With the special upgrade that deals extra damage on hit.

Himeko stacks up from 0 to 3 when you break toughness in Elite. It’s a double edge trait in certain mode in the game. 😅

"I'm low on dps" -Himeko casually deals 240K damage in the 1st plane. Mine is level 80 with decent equipment (didn't farm for anything) and deals like 40K for the same ability.

Also wdym ruan mei was causing too much break? Why is that a bad thing in this team

I think they hotfixed DU recently. They nerfed the Cirrus fight and completely got rid of Aventurine Boss. The Aventurine Boss fight isn't that bad compared to Cirrus imo.

I have no idea you can go over 10k points in excessive conversion. I thought the max is 10k and it corresponds with killing both elites. I guess that's good to know Edit: And I just remembered about that curio that gives extra starting points

Honestly the one thing that frustrates me most about this game mode is how random it is. I’ve got Firefly and Ruan Mei and I was even lucky enough to pull FF’s E1 and LC but the randomness in DU makes it so that even with all that, if luck isn’t on my side I won’t make it past the first boss. Base SU atleast gives you the option to reroll blessings everytime you get them, but here not only is that not an option, but the price of rerolling at the workbench increases each time meaning if you don’t have an insane amount of cosmic fragments, forget trying to get the blessings you want. And all that’s not even getting into the equation randomness. They’re such big power boosts that they’re pretty much required to beat the mode but if you get ones that don’t synergise with your build you’re gonna lose for sure. It’s really frustrating endlessly restarting and not getting the right equations over and over again. Atleast with the 80d timers on it I think they’ll keep updating this mode so hopefully they’ll take the criticisms and improve it

I was originally going to pull for e1 ruan mei but this game mode made me pull for firefly just to reach and complete protocol 6 because my dot team doesn't do anything in protocol 4 but atleast I can have a chance full clearing apoclayptic shadow once I finish building my firefly and gallagher

It's crazy how fast the community turned on DU

i genuinely feel the firefly bias so badly in DU, i always end up having to use the same break team everytime i want to advance a protocol level, i only just barely cleared protocol 5 with my black swan + guinaifen team and REALLY lucky blessing/equation rng they did so much right with auto leveling characters + gear letting you experiment a lot more than even in gold & gears but what's the point if any team you form even with 5* characters does a fraction of the damage that a firefly team does. and for f2p's if you dont have her signature, or an e6 xueyi you're fucked

Somehow Hoyo give more reason for people to hate Firefly. Even I that willing forgive Firefly's clumsy introduction arc, somehow began to hate her all over again due to her domination on DU. Her alone not even Acheron nominating there

My most favorite SU of all. I can try all type of team (DOT, hunt hyper, freeze, supa break, full reserv team, follow up) to finish diff 6 cause they give all char to lv 80. They give us free change for team to adapt for equation and blessing we had. I immersed and always retrying with different path equation even after clearing. It such a great experience

Tbh, im grateful that they dont any achievement on DU (yet) since you can imagine how absurd they are that they might comparable to Swarm's achievement

I still prefer reroll mechanic on SD and G&G rather than this new one. At least you can reroll every time you got them and there's curio that allow to free reroll for each blessing but in DU nope you need Overwrite that cost a lot

i liked DU until i tried challenging the higher Thresholds and realized how terrible the rng is. i understand that it's supposed to make you dynamically change your teams depending on what you're rolling, which in theory, creates a gamemode that has you thinking on your feet- but when everything eventually leads back to break or fua, it doesn't feel fun anymore. not being able to apply a weakness type too in a gamemode that very clearly requires you break the boss makes it feel even worse cuz unless you're running firefly, boothill, or silver wolf, there is a very good chance the random final boss just shafts your whole run cuz you're not matching weakness types. "just change your team to match weakness" well, my equations/blessings don't match the new team, so now what? and that just sucks so bad lmao

It really gets to you how not fun the mode is when you're trying to reroll for the 16th blessing to unlock boundary equation. Honestly it really is firefly propaganda like gng used to be for argenti but at least gng is still fun

I think this gamemode had great concept but bad execution with too much firefly shill, I think if they wanted to shill FF/break teams just crank up their own damage numbers instead of cranking up the difficulty for everyone else

when u combine all the rubert relic u get an insane and randomness, the relic they combine to make gives u 300 cosmic fragments, 3 random blessing and 3 random curio when u enter a new domain

Man my only issues in this mode is the enemies are too unfairly quick and fast(mainly cirrus complete for v6 and no ruan mei i can only hit 1 and rarely 2 everytime i break bosses it takes long enough for enemies to stack berserk) and its hard to try and claim the curios and blessing that could help my firefly get fair amounts of actions before enemies get up.

A Simulated Universe where you can't destroy your enemies in the late game is honestly a certified "bad" game mode imo

Remembrance equation the best one for me,once the dissociation hits,it hits hard and i dont even use ice char just use acheron and ff

I’m ngl I really like this game mode. I think GnG got pretty brainless (still think it’s the best mode in HSR) so it’s a nice change of pace. The RNG does suck sometimes but I like the feeling of adapting to it. I think there should be a better system for weight curios and a way to pick the boss you fight tho
