    Top driver's pipe handler elevators should be turned 180 to latch pipe properly, it'd be safer, easier and more efficient.

    Hi there Is it possible to overcome the fear of public speaking just by joining toastmasters ?

    • @achbarrahawarin3938
      @achbarrahawarin3938 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Laith, thanks for your comment. Fear of public speaking for the first time is something natural. I was so nervous on speaking at first. Still remember my first day joined Toastmasters meeting I was frozen and only clapping, eventho it was only online. But the more I practiced and delivered a speech the more confidence and more relaxed I become. So I assume that fear of public speaking is because we haven't get used to it. if we keep practice, our body will adapt to it and make it like normal. We can speak with more relax, more confident and all ideas flowing to our mind easily. Just try it, we all feel fear and nervous at first but with Toastmasters, we able to overcome all that.

Public speaking was one of my weakness previously, but now, I can say it will become one of my strength. All complain about how slow it is lol. We use this on my offshore oil rig, Trippingspeed of up to 1200m per hour. We don't use the catwalk then but use Hydraracker with stands of 3 pipes from / to the setback. The catwalk is only for laying down / picking up singles for spaceout or special tools.

      This is litterly how it works on any offshore rig here in Norway.

  • @rfw700
    @rfw700 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    The system is on ship which is designed to drill top hole. The ship when its working properly, will be at sea in open water. It will pitch and roll, so the equipment is designed to overcome the difficulties associated with that. Besides what you see is the equipment being tested before it goes operational. So as it is being tested, it will be slow. Any of you who have worked on a small Drillship in open ocean, will understand why technology designed for land rigs is not going to work at sea. Oh, and it doesn't matter how good the Roughnecks are, they will not be able to work fast if the ship is moving. Having worked as a Driller on a small drillship, I can safely say it's nothing like working on a little land rig.

  • @legaliseme
    @legaliseme 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    Fuck me, sure it looks safe but look at the same operation with 2 roughnecks a pair of manual elevators where they store the drill string at 30 degrees and the same operation takes about 1/10th of the time

    • @theredking2495
      @theredking2495 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +legaliseme Agreed, but the point here, I think, is there is no personnel at the V-door. Which is safer.

      I don't know why you said: "We are Chinese company." ****************************************************************************** ****************************************************************************** Your country does not know the word "quality." They spell it ...... "kuality.: Twice...yes......twice, I 've bought water sprinklers for my yard that that one night/evening. That's about 30 minutes of service.....for a frick'in water sprinkler. That said: HOW CAN YOUR COUNTRY MANUFACTURE ELEVATORS?????? They are slapped together with pig iron......no quality, whatsoever. And also, dangerous. Perhaps someday China might be on the level of say Japan as far a quality..... but in the interiem, China has a long ways to go to deliver quality made products.....ie., oilfield equipment. P.S. Those workover rigs made in China.....design was stolen from the U.S. & Europe via reverse engineering.
