Saw this first on Reddit, it was beautiful, have been searching for it ever since and now I see it here. You deserve more subscribers, awesome editing. Although, if I may provide criticism, I will say that the flashbacks to previous launch failures is a bit too intense. The idea is good but I think it would be better to show the launches and explosions rather than the attempted landings, as it is east for the audience to mistake say an sn9 attempted landing for an sn15 one. But the idea is strong nonetheless.

All the clunking and rattling on ACC is so distracting. And clearly isn't realistic. Having driven race cars IRL you don't hear any of that stuff while you're driving.

The Honda PU has been my favorite one ever since Honda rolled out the current engine.

Acc good but it lacks bass

Which DSP does your soundcard/motherboard use? The sounds are closer to the IRL versions on my rig which uses multiple ESS DSP processors per channel - some of the best DSP processors available. My kids play on the xbox - that sounds weedy, even through the same amplifier.

Also, remember that the mic in the real onboard is often poor quality and has a sort of "underwater" sound to it. I'd say the ACC sound is probably closer to the real thing than the actual onboard footage.

My favourite part about the sound in Spa is when the engine noise bounces off the concrete wall before Eau Rouge, I loooove that bit, especially when I'm using my Index.

The only issue is that it doesn't sound like you are inside the car

I think all the cars sounds dull, dead and synthetic to a point where I find it hard to imagine I'm driving a car. Its like a Motorhead concert without distortion. No roar just purr. I love acc, but I hate the clean sounding engine emulations. Im not saying they don't come close, they just lack all the grit that makes real engines sound awesome.

In my opinion. The sound needs to be more dampend. It sounds like I'm playing in a sports hall

F2 cars sound and drive better imo in F1 2021 especially the down shifting. Gear change on the F1 cars don't sound great.

The downshift sounds really wrong in f1 2021

ACC needs to make the upshifts significantly louder. These race cars use ignition cut to allow the transmission to shift without damage. With ignition cut the engine creates a essentially a backfire, it's very loud in person.

Sometimes, in the hum drum moments and in those vague places between the panels I forget about poetry, the kind specific to an individual of Carl Sagan's nature. I fail to remember the infinite beauty offered by our mere existence. A rare and precious gift, spectacular and unique to the moment in which each of us experienced it.
