I'm so glad that you have brought this topic to light: i use to call a certain call center and they seem to be previously well balance between the fruit of the Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit. But just in the last 2-3 years they have disdain the gifts of the Spirit and have gone from admonishing their pastor to actually idealizing him as if was incapable of doing anything wrong! I have respect for this brother but i see him as a vessel of the wonderful things that God is doing in and through him,. Thisi s what i'm reminded of when i head this timely message because the Bible does tell us to highly esteem those that are over us in the church but never do we act like they are just ideal and neither does he have the final word but instead we allow the word of God have the final word! Amen!!

The title of this video made me watch it, because i got the same revelation that the church was attending was like a cult. it had same characteristics you pointed out. Pray and seek the Lord before joining any church.

I know a lot too as God communicates with me constantly. We had our wars but I’ve forgiven him now. Well the God who is creator is also female. Very true. It's okay to leave. Don't tell anyone. Just walk away from them. Seek God for the where He wants you to fellowship. Renounce the witchcraft and all covenants that were created there. Surrender yourself you to God and start over falling in love with all of God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit.

I am a junior Pastor and my senior pastor told me that without him I cannot prosper. I remembered this Scripture, "Hebrews 12:2 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." I left him (my church and pastor) and followed God, today by the grace of God, God has blessed the work of my hands (my Education and Real Estate jobs.). God made me the richest (colored man) among my peers in the Region that I am residing. I began to teach people and God's followers how to work well and trusting in God and praying according to God's will in their jobs and how to make use of 6days in a week to labor and REST in serving God and spending quality time for safe and family. Exodus 20:9-11 9 Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates. 11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy. . God said that, we should come out from familiarity of our pastors that it hinders our blessings. There are many things to say but finally, John 10 vs 27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. As a believer, please, please before you trust anyone, FIRST LEARN TO TRUST GOD and fear not even in your circumstances. We must learn to abide by these words Daniel 3 vs 17 If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us[a] from Your Majesty’s hand. 18 But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.” We need an encounter with God to be free from being gullible believers. Proverbs 3:5-6 5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. The primary issue facing followers of Our Lord Jesus is that most of them don't study the Bible for themselves, so they rely on their pastors to do the research and advise them all to believe. 2 Timothy 2:15 15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. I attend a church where I feel I’m not being fed spiritually most of the time. I been attending for about 40 years and nothing new is being preached. To tell the truth I only attend it because of peer pressure from my family. I’m getting much more fed on TH-cam. Another reason I’m not leaving is because I don’t see a church that doesn’t teach false doctrine. Pray for me

if you are in a church that is kind and focused on God, you may be the Rebel. The bible is clear about how the devil uses women to disrupt and cause chaos. You might need to self examine. If it's the church, find another more suiting for your family.

I've had a very similar experience to you. I live in Sydney, Australia and there is a church that I went to for 6 months. I only realised after the fact when I left hoiw unhealthy it was.

Part of your growth, God is showing you what not to be in the kingdom of God. Things the Court of heaven rejected.

That's why you should give Reverence to the word of God before the Man of god however.its okay, part of your growth.

Why do I feel like we went to the same cult lol because everything you've shared in your videos recently is exactly what I've seen. When you're being used as an example in preaching especially when you've shared things in confidence with the pastor, its a form of abuse. Just recently, a friend pointed out that the cult-like place we were in was a breeding ground for idolatry of the pastors. God have mercy on us... Thanks for raising awareness on this
