    The "Shiva Sutra" is not necessarily a teaching of Buddha. However, the Buddha does teach guru devotion as a path, and especially to students who self-study scriptures, because clinging to self is the cause of suffering.

    I hope everyone’s doing OK at the nunnery. There should be some pretty big donations coming soon. I’m pretty sure I engineered that one correctly. I don’t exactly know how that’s gonna happen but you know it’s sprinkle enough generosity around Alexandria to make something happen so let’s see what happens.😂❤

    Never mind I don’t wanna get blocked here lol😂 y’all just do what you do oh my God it’s amazing. If you just put in 1/6 of the perfection you’re golden. you have to do it with your body speech in mind and all your thoughts words and deeds that’s the trick. Thank you.❤❤❤ ~ that’s from Zen Master Thict Nun Hun… sorry about the spelling. I’m terrible at this whole technology thing.

At the beginning of the video, the young man (I did not hear his name mentioned) advised that we could submit questions for Jetsunma to answer in future Q & A sessions. Can anyone tell me how to submit questions? Thanks.

    Hello Lama Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo. I do research on Buddhism in Bihar. Wouldn't you like to see Maha Prajapati Gautami's sangarama in Vaishali. That will definitely be the first Buddhist sangaram the world saw. After Buddha ordained her and 500 other ladies the Lichavies pooled in money and made this nunnery for her. I have found the nunnery. It's a village today. There are four villages adjacent to each other sharing boundaries. One is where the musicians lived, where the nuns lived, where Bimbisara lived and where Amrapali entertained the lichavies. I have met the descendants of the Buddhist characters. Maha Prajapati attained Maha Parinirvana in Amrapali's old house. I videographed the exact spot where she died because there is a temple on the spot marking her samadhi. She is known as the great grandmother of that village. People describe how she died. Half a km away is the place where the Buddha asked her to show her prowess. This is also a well known temple. The temple name tells the story you just narrated in this video about Prajapati Gautami jumping up. Her samadhi place where she died is lovely. It's on the banks of the Ganges. When I was filming the temple (it had no Hindu gods, just 5 small stupas dedicated to her), I looked around and tears nearly welled up in my eyes. As I imagined all the greats in the Buddha story had assembled here as she faded away. Everyone was here, Buddha, the disciples, Khema Uppalavana, Visakha, Sariputra, Kassapa, everyone sat and waited for her to pass away. I forgot to ask the people where they cremated her. The eye opener was the richness of Amrapali. Her property was mind boggling as it covered an area of fifteen sq km. AMAZING. I am a Hindu. But I thank the Buddhists for preserving Bihars legacy. I would like to invite you to check my report and visit these sites so that the world knows about her legacy. All the villagers in this area are staunch right wing Hindus praying to her and looking after her and the nuns temples. They will realize who their ancestors were. I assure you, they will welcome you.

    I have one question which I do not expect to be answered, but nomatter. The question needs to be asked. What about Karma? How come in all the ‘wisdom’ teachings very little is mentioned re Karma. e.g. Did the 4 plus millions who died in the Nazi Holocaust die because of some Karmic debt? Did the Tibetans lose Tibet to the Chinese because of Karma? Did all the millions of Africans over several centuries become slaves because of Karma? Did all the Indigenous and tribal peoples of the world over several centuries get exterminated because of Karma? And what about the perpetrators? Did Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot and all the other murdering dictators commit their atrocities because of Karma, and kind of Karma would that be exactly that would enable and empower murderers to slaughter or for the filthy rich to exploit and rape the planet and live in the lap of luxury while doing so? Please, any enlightenment on the subject would do. If you do not respond, I will assume you don’t have any answers and therefore it’s a waste of time listening to your Dharma teachings.

    Master, I seek your wisdom with a heavy heart. Since my brother's son entered our lives, I've faced a profound challenge. Showering him with affection, I'm haunted by the suffering of children in famine, war, and disease. It's as if the weight of all children's suffering burdens me when I see my nephew. While I grasp suffering's role in life's evolution, reconciling this truth with my emotions is a struggle. I'm overwhelmed, torn apart by feeling too deeply. How can I find peace in loving my nephew amidst the world's suffering?

    • @_eddiecole
      @_eddiecole 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Start with your connection to love itself and broaden it to your nephew and war and the energy of war, dis-ease, famine etc. Try loving kindness practice. Google it. Do guided meditations of several different teachers teaching it. Start with something u do love like a pet or something easy to love and slowly send those vibrations out Making them bigger and bigger inside yourself until they encompass and envelope all the bad and evil in the world...and in yourself/ego
